I'm dying to see her get her a$$ kicked in another final She’s the only reason I would watch I probably don’t know most of the current field. I haven’t watched in over a year I used to love the Agassi / Sampras years - it's like boxing for me now (in regards to I don't follow it like I used to) - I'll just tune in for the Slams. I'm intrigued by the Fed/Nadal/Joker race to capture the most Slams and who retires first. Seems to be some rising young stars on the Women's side as well - Osaka plays Gauff again next in the 3rd Round - If memory serves Osaka whipped her in the last US Open (Osaka is the chick who was brought to tears a couple of years back at the US Open because Serena acted like a spoiled brat/sore loser in defeat)

I just can’t believe the nadal djokovic Federer rivalry is going. I never would’ve thought guys would be winning slams up till there mid 30’s without any of the younger guys being able to break through on a consistent basis? Maybe somebody has now but not so much when I last watched. I thought nadal would’ve been retired at 31 or 32

It's totally remarkable, and sometimes a player has a great run, or a great year, but then either gets hurt or just can't keep pace. The 3 of those guys are just amazing to watch, the mental and physical fortitude it takes to accomplish what they've been able to is borderline superhero level.

Good to see. I find it hilarious how personally some people take Margaret Court holding the Grand Slam record. Long may she reign!

Coco Gauff steaming through into the third round. At 15! I love Caroline Wozniaki, she is a fighter. With rheumatoid arthritis (chronic fatigue, joint pain) she still manages to be in the top ranks. She is expected to retire after this. With double break points down in both sets she still managed to crash through to beat the 19 year old up and coming newbie Dayana Yastremska who is going to go a long way, just not this time. Wozniaki accused Yastremska of cheating by getting a medical timeout for a calf injury just when Wozniaki was building up steam in the 2nd set. Sour grapes? A good call? Not cool of professionals in a Grand Slam competition? Knowing Wozniaki struggles with her illness I tend to be sympathetic that she knows what it is really like. I saw a match where she had used up all her medical timeouts for cramp, had a massive cramp with extremely painful whole-of-leg spasms, and was told by the referee to get back out there, no more timeouts. Woz just got bounced - looks like that's it.

Ah - my mistake thanks looks like a tight match - i just put it back on - he lost the first and won the 2nd set 7-6 and is only up in the 3rd 3-2 - think i'll leave this on since it's so tight right now

Her big grin will be missed. I can't say I am upset (like some were) at Serena missing out again on the crown of most slam wins. She is a bit old for a topline player. Sharapova and Federer show how the 30s takes the edge off. Catch that little ball of power, 15 year old Coco Gauff doing Naomi Osaka in straight sets. Madison Keys was a chance gone as well.

Millman breaks Fed to go up 4-3 in the 4th.
Not used to seeing Fed's opponent as a huge crowd favorite.
