fed advances to another semis Federer vs Djokovic on Thursday 50 meetings. 23 vs 27. Federer has won 6 Australian Open singles titles, Djokovic 7. Novak is younger, surely he is the favourite. It would be a shame if it was won in 3 straight sets. Federers back goes on him or Djokovic loses his contact lenses again.

End of the road for the unseeded Tunisian Ons Jabeur, who lost her quarter-final match against #14 seed American Sofia Kenin. That's too bad; I always like it when players from a country with little tradition in the sport do well.
Kenin's opponent in the semi-final will be hometown favourite and #1 seed Ashleigh Barty, who sent Petra Kvitova back to Prague.

I would love to see Federer win but I wouldn't bet any money on it.

Because McEnroe's in any position to criticise the behaviour of others. Guy needs to shut up and do his job. She was well received by the crowd and, to be honest, has done far more to help people in the wider community than McEnroe ever has or has ever tried to. Classic modern BS that what you do is less important tban what you say.

Thiem totally choked. At least he'll take Nadal to 5.

I was hoping I'd be proven wrong.
Thiem has a winning record against each of the big 3, and is 7-2 overall.

Thiem totally choked. At least he'll take Nadal to 5. Even if Thiem had lost the tie break in the 4th, which he didn't, and it had been 2 sets to 2 rather than the final score of Thiem winning 3-1, it would have been Nadal "at least" taking Thiem to 5 sets because Nadal was the one who was losing 2-1 before the fourth set was decided. Y'all can condescend to me all you want about American football, but don't fuck with me about tennis. Tennis is my sport.

I think his on-court mannerisms and attitude are harder to watch than Sharapova is, as I can at least turn the sound down on her. And glad he can't catch Roger yet.

I don't really want to see Douche-jovic win the open so hopefully either Roger can pull off an upset or one of the kids can stand up.
Can Ash Barty break a 42 year drought for Australia? She's definitely a chance.

She's definitely a chance. Barty is surely favourite over Sofia Kenin Both Mugaruza and Halep are on fire. Lookikg forward to the final whoever gets there
