It's boring and stale, a beyond lame finale that even made The Last Stand look better by comparison, and that "X-Women" scene is so cringe inducing I can't believe anyone would've thought it could ever be seen as either strong or empowering.

Captain marvel was the worst CBM of 2019. fact My prediction were right. she will always be in rogue's shadow not even the ultra powerful Disney could make anyone like her. Captain Marvel's not the MCU's finest hour, but at least it had some energy and personality and none of the political mumbo jumbo was anywhere as cringe inducing or franchise insulting as the "I think you should change the name to X-Women" scene.

What is funny is the director is one of the worst hacks known in Hollywood and he is a big MCU fan. Dark Phoenix belongs in the same place as Endgame, Far From Home, Captain Marvel. 2019 for comic films was a joke. You look at all this movies and you just love Logan, TDK, Joker, DOFP, X2 more. What is funnier is we will indeed see far worse xmen films to come with MCU X-Men. Dude, just stop.

IMO it was quite awful. Fassbender/JLaw seemed like they were bored as hell and didn't even want to be there lol. Just an overall very lame finale that went out with a whimper . Logan should have been the last X Men film instead. Now THAT was a good film!

Honestly, the poor use of feminism was the least of the problem of that scene, let alone the entire film. The biggest problem (at least I thought) was that the whole thing came right the f**k out of nowhere toward the end of a conversation with a completely different topic, not to mention that the whole thing takes place after the scene where Nightcrawler and Quicksilver did most of the jobs (with the help of Jean Grey) while Mystique didn't really do much. It's like the entire production team forgot about the previous event entirely. And yes, the real big problem was that the film was an astounding suckage, so much so that I ended up creating #PixarChallenge on MCU Fan Forum.
