Uncouth, violent and evil twin Gregor, and his refined, goody-two-shoes brother Anton. It could be said that he actually gives three performances, with his best moments coming when Gregor is impersonating Anton. We, the viewers, know about the impersonation, and Karloff plays those scenes with the multiple layers readily apparent. |
