Take a soldier who knew the war was going to be won, snatch him away with no warning and dump him 70 years into the future...
...He won't be happy, even if he knew the war was won.

He was pulled out of the ice and given a bed to sleep in. Did he think they were just going to let him sleep on the street after they went to all that trouble to pull him out of the ice and give him a bed to sleep in? He probably should have woke up in a hospital instead of an elaborate lie. Probably every soldier who landed on Normandy beach on D-Day lost a friend or fellow soldier that fought alongside them during the war. But when those soldiers who landed on Normandy beach on D-Day received the good news that the war was over and America won the war, do you think their first reaction was extreme disappointment, like Steve Rogers' first reaction? Pretty big diff between what happened to Cap and what happened to every other soldier. From his perspective, he was just talking to Peggy on the radio minutes earlier. And you've just admitted that Marlow wasn't paid by the NFL. So I'm correct and you're wrong. LOLOLOL you don't know what sub-contracting is? Did Wells pay Marlow out of his own pocket? Reports say he was 'hired' so he didn't work for free. So either he was paid by Wells out of the cost of his investigation which was ultimately billed to the NFL, or...well there is no or. It's pretty obvious what happened. There was no fraudulent science. Yes there was. You're just repeating your stupid appeal to authority fallacy that you don't understand. Just because Marlow rubber-stamped fraudulent science doesn't make it not fraudulent. And just because Brady's lawyers decided to challenge only Goodell's authority from the CBA and not the science doesn't make the science right. What about Joss directing Batgirl?

Put any other soldier in Steve's place, they'd have reacted the same. In fact, they'd react worse. Nope. Imagine being an American soldier advancing on Germany near the end of World War II. Suddenly, your commanding officer announces to your unit that he just received the news that the Nazis had surrendered. What's the first reaction of EVERY American soldier? CHEERS, JOY, ELATION, CELEBRATION. What was Steve Rogers' first reaction when he found out that the war was over (and America won)? DISAPPOINTMENT. NO OTHER AMERICAN SOLDIER BESIDES STEVE ROGERS WOULD'VE BEEN ANYTHING LESS THAN ELATED UPON FINDING OUT THE GOOD NEWS THAT AMERICA WON THE WAR.No one else had to endure a 70 year sleep. Irrelevant. From Steve Rogers' point of view, he was still fighting the war the day before and now he just found out that America won the war. But instead of being happy and elated over the good news, Rogers is extremely disappointed that he didn't get to go on a date with Peggy Carter. Rogers is the only American soldier who was disappointed when he found out America won the war.

Nope she was a molded piece of clay that was given life. Nope. Diana was given birth by her mother Hippolyta (who was impregnated by Zeus), just like Perseus and Hercules were given birth by their mothers (who were also impregnated by Zeus). You're clearly not up-to-date with Diana's origin. Any idiot could see who won the war. And Rogers' first reaction to finding out that the war was over and America had won wasn't elation that America had defeated the Nazis, but extreme disappointment that he didn't get to go on a date with Peggy Carter.

Forget it, he thinks it's okay for Superman to ignore the devastation Metropolis was in at the end of MOS so he could make out with Lois Lane but it's wrong for Steve to feel sad his world was gone. It's OK after surviving a war to hug or kiss someone you love. EVERY American soldier who came back from World War I or World War II and had family, friends, or loved ones waiting for them back home most likely did that. Because the first thing that anyone who has just survived such a catastrophic event as a world war or a deadly terrorist attack is going to do is hug or kiss someone they love.
The war or the catastrophe is over, you survived, it's time to take a breath and to hug or kiss those you love. That's the normal reaction for everyone.
But the normal reaction for a soldier who was fighting a war and then wakes up after 70 years should be "Who won the war" or "Did we win the war?" Not I'm bummed and disappointed because "I had a date" and I don't give a damn about who won the war.
Don't try to make it seem like Rogers was sad that his friends may all be gone. Rogers' first reaction wasn't "I'm bummed and disappointed because all my friends are probably dead." Rogers' first reaction was "I'm bummed and disappointed because I won't get to go on a date with Peggy Carter."

When a Public Defender hires an investigator to investigate a case that he's working on, does the Public Defender pay the investigator out of his own pocket? NO. The investigator is paid from the budget given to the Public Defender's office by the state.
So does that mean the investigator has to report back to the D.A. and take orders from the D.A. and do what the D.A. tells him to do? NO.
The Public Defender and the investigator hire by the Public Defender work the case independent of the D.A. and don't take orders from the D.A. Same with Marlow. Marlow worked the case independent of the NFL and Goodell, and Marlow didn't take any orders from the NFL or Goodell.

You're dodging the real question here. How well would any of those guys do if they were frozen for 70 years first and THEN find out about the war?
They'd react worse than Steve, that's what they'd do.
You think being frozen for 70 years is the same as just coming home from war. It's not. And really, stop expecting them to spoonfeed you every thought in the characters' mind, this isn't a Superman or Batman story.

You see, spoon fed, him looking around at the buildings and the nonGerman language of the signs tells us that the country was still ours. We don't need everything spoken to us. Or spoon fed. We got the message. Then we leave off on the note that he will miss the woman he loved.

She put clay in her stomach? How old are you? 10? Do you still believe that babies are delivered by a stork? Do you still believe Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy are real? Were you not taught how babies are conceived and given birth by their mothers? Diana was conceived by Zeus and Hippolyta and given birth by Hippolyta, just like how Hercules and Perseus were conceived by Zeus and their mothers and given birth by their mothers. Yes, the same Zeus. Zeus banged a lot of women and got many of them pregnant. Hippolyta was 1 of many women that Zeus impregnated. So that's why he ran out of the building and looked around all relieved? "Okay we won." You see, spoon fed, him looking around at the buildings and the nonGerman language of the signs tells us that the country was still ours And what was Rogers' first reaction when he realized that the war was over and America won the war? Not elation, but extreme disappointment because he couldn't go on a date with Peggy Carter. Rogers is the only American soldier who was disappointed when he found out that America won the war.

And no, you can't say "They did react the same way!" because coming home after a war is over isn't the same as being frozen for 70 years. If you use that excuse, you concede the argument.

Dude, you are a DC fan. Hell, it's in your name. Hell, it is your name. You ask me if I still believe in Santa Claus and the Toothfairy, but you think characters like Superman and Wonder Woman are the best. Was I taught how babies are conceived? Yes. I was taught how Wonder Woman was, also. That clay. I heard when Diana was "born" Hippolyta brought her home in one of these: Okay, sorry that went too far... I don't think extreme means what you think it does. Also, are you really gonna stay off topic because you hate that Captain Marvel will be and do better than Wonder Woman?

I was taught how Wonder Woman was, also. That clay Well, obviously whoever taught you that didn't think you were mature enough to understand that men and women have sexual intercourse and babies are born as a result of that sexual intercourse. That's how Diana was born, just like her half-brothers Hercules and Perseus. Like I said before, you're clearly not up-to-date with Diana's origins. Have you been frozen in ice for decades and haven't gotten up-to-date with what's current? Out of curiosity, do you still believe that the Earth is the center of the universe and that the Sun revolves around the Earth. Captain Marvel will be and do better than Wonder Woman? Nope, Wonder Woman will be a huge hit, just like all 3 of DCEUs movies so far, each of which have grossed more than 75% of MCU's movies and combined have already grossed $2 billion (a mark that took MCU 5 movies to reach), putting DCEU ahead of MCU at the same point. Captain Marvel is going to suck, just like all of MCUs movies so far.

Just because you say it's irrelevant doesn't make it so. Your analogy is complete nonsense. Goodell hired Wells. Wells hired Exponent and Marlow, and billed the NFL for their services. It's called the chain of command. It applies when Party A hires Party B who then sub-contracts Parties C and D. Goodell tells Wells 'I need a guilty verdict' and Wells in turn tells Exponent and Marlow 'I need a guilty verdict.' This is evident from the shoddy science which you do not understand.

DC-FanNow I may not be an expert on DC Comics, and I have never read Wonder Woman, but I'm pretty sure she - like many DC characters - has two different origin stories. One is known as Pre-Crisis, and the other Post-Crisis. After the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' storyline, many characters' backgrounds, abilities, history etc were retconned and completely changed. Perhaps the Crisis writers thought 'DC came up with some stupid shit back in the day, let's make an excuse to change it.' dc.wikia.com/wiki/Wonder_Woman_(Diana_Prince)This page mentions Hippolyta was instructed to mold some clay into the form of a baby girl, which was then infused with a soul.

Captain Marvel is going to suck, just like all of MCUs movies so far. Could have fooled me. How much you are on your knees for DC comics. And that could be a stylized star from Wonder Woman's undies. But that isn't the origin they are using in the movie is it? They even have her kinda hesitant on explaining her "father". All 3 DCEU movies were huge hits? Do you even know what "huge hit" means? All 3 got low scores. Nobody liked them. Well, except for DC fans like yourself. I think what people, like yourself, do is turn on blinders because you like the property so much that you convince yourself that it is good. I bet you liked Jonah Hex and Green Lantern, also. Even the stars of those movies hated them. And I like how you tried to compare Iron Man and Thor to Superman and Batman. 2 characters that has had constant reboots over the last couple decades. Maybe they'll get Superman right on the next go round. Hey, remember when the Justice League trailer came out and was dwarfed by Thor's the next week? Thor son! Captain Marvel is going to appear in Infinity War, people will love her, and Wonder Woman will be forgotten.

Your dumbass analogy does not fly. This is fucking Goodell we're talking about. Marlow did what Wells told him to do, and Wells did what Goodell told him to do. The fact that Exponent's science is so shitty and it was approved by Marlow is evidence of conspiracy. You don't understand science though, and you're hopelessly biased against the Patriots, so you can't and won't see it.
