So the colorful animated graphics have nothing to do with the facts? And the number of cases is below statistically significant? And not one picture of a person with measles? Hmmm. A majority can be 51% by the way. Another problem I see in the graphic is comparing areas with extreme differences in population density and public transportation which are probably significant factors. Then there are factors that while less significant might skew results a bit as well for example income. When people hear about "fake news" they probably think it means web sites like mine. Maybe it does mean that incorrectly. It should mean web sites like that one. That is not science. Whoever wrote that article is so ignorant of statistics as to not graduate college, much less become a doctor. Suppose there are good cases for vaccines. Suppose too many people are not aware of them and make bad cases for vaccines because they are more fond of science than capable of it. What does that do to the number of vaccines? Obviously when stupid people approach intelligent people with bad science and a bad "do as I say because I'm with the government" attitude that will wake up a lot people who at the moment are just going along. They will quit going along and join the anti-vax crowd. Now see what you've done? I will say this though, maybe it's a good. Maybe there are no good cases for vaccines. Maybe people do need to make some changes which ones they need and which ones they don't. In that case you are really doing a great job of showing how ignorant of science too many voters are. That should be a big help amending the Constitution so that no one may ever force any medical treatment by government. Thank you very much for that.

Every time you attempt independent thought you prove it's just not your thing. You are not the type of person who tells things to others, your natural place in society is as a person who gets told.

Those who disregard parental power over children in this instance are not consistent. I am not saying I agree with the principle of parental power btw. Parental power over their children is not absolute...especially when it may result in harm to the child. Otherwise, child abuse and neglect wouldn't be a thing. Where do you draw the line and why?

Explain how they are ignorant Actually I never read your response, I assumed that it was in the same vein and Arlon and Science. But to be fair I am not really sure what your response is trying to say, are you suggesting that parents have the rights to withhold vaccinations? what would you base those rights on and to what extent would you allow parents to exercise them? There is no reason to draw a line between allowing a parent to pick a bad school for a kid and allowing a parent to prevent a kid to be vaccinated. The onus is on you to explain why the vaccination case is different and why that difference matters.

I'm already imagining the weird and wonderful reasons you're going to give as to why they're comparable.

Also that is not really consistent as I assume you would allow a parent to stop a kid seeinhg his best friend because she doesn't like him even though this would cause emotional harm to the other kid.

Asking why an action being able to physically harm other's children matters... followed by comparing a social adjustment kids go through every time they move to a disease's physical impact. You sound like a good model for some form of social psychosis.
