Regarding the Patriots & Cam, I'm beginning to think since more players may surely test positive before January, this might not simply be shrugged off as a wasted week for them. If half the league faces starters sitting out eventually, then the playoff race should still be in play for nearly everyone.

Patricia is on a covert mission to sabotage his team from within. Same as all Belichick's understudies.

NFL is now going to video monitor players to ensure they comply with Covid protocol. Because that isnβt Orwellian at all.

Patriots 4 turnovers, ran well & played D well enough at Arrowhead. Stidham looks alright, even with the pick. I chalked this up one of their 6 probable losses... 4 left to bank lest they playoffs get away.

Shouldnβt the Super Bowl be on NBC this year?

Shouldnβt the Super Bowl be on NBC this year? I know it should be - Iβm not sure why CBS has it, I know the Super Bowl was going to be in LA this year but construction on the stadium got delayed (it was supposed to open last year) and so Tampa got the Super Bowl this year, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

I chalked this up one of their 6 probable losses... 4 left to bank lest they playoffs get away. The defense kept them in the game for a long time. Still, I expected them to lose this game (if not the way they did) so it's hardly a devastating loss. Looking ahead, they have a lot of winnable games for a team that's only going to get better as the season goes on. No time to get complacent, but I like our chances for making the playoffs, even at 2-2.

Fate would have it that Kraft's opening to ownership began after the Sullivans & Kiam dropped the ball huge on the Lisa Olson incident. Wild, I remembered that as a kid, & here all these years later its butterfly effect.

So we are already a quarter of the way through the 2020 NFL season. What I have seen so far?
NFC East
Eagles 1-2 Cowboys 1-3 Redskins 1-3 Giants 0-4
This division has been pretty bad the last few years. I think the biggest surprise is Dallas sitting at 1-3. Not much else to say. Redskins having an identity crisis, Giants are still in rebuilding purgatory and the Eagles are banged up. You would think this would be Dallas's cup of tea! But they have been off.
NFC North
Packers 4-0 Bears 3-1 Vikings 1-3 Lions 1-3
More of the same from the Lions and Vikings. Bears are overachievers at this point and the Packers are undefeated! I figured GB would be in first but not undefeated so they overachieved there.
NFC West
Seahawks 4-0 Rams 3-1 49ers 2-2 Cardinals 2-2
Seattle doing great so far! It's been a few years since they were to the Super Bowl, but they have maintained a pretty good success rate! Most teams fall apart and turn to shit this far out from their last Super Bowl so kudo's to them for staying competitive. Rams look better from last year during their Super Bowl hangover. Meanwhile, the Niners have the Super Bowl hangover combined with injuries and they are just treading water. Cardinals don't look as bad as last year but they are still in last place. Still, they are at .500 so maybe they can sneak in to the wild card down the stretch?
NFC South
Buccaneers 3-1 Panthers 2-2 Saints 2-2 Falcons 0-4
Even if they have Tom Brady, I figured the Bucs would of been finishing right in the middle of the pack, Brady maybe comes back next year then calls it quits. Without Cam Newton, I had the Panthers pegged for a last place finish possibly but they are treading water right now. Saints are are disappointing right now. Falcons, I lost confidence in them last season so I didn't expect much from them going in this year. They had all that talent and just pissed it away!
AFC East
Bills 4-0 Patriots 2-2 Dolphins 1-3 Jets 0-4
I figured Buffalo and New England would be fighting tooth and nail for first all the way through the season but the Bills are actually starting to outdistance the Patriots! Bills are good, but I did not expect them to be undefeated right now! Don't want to jinx them but I feel like they have done this before where they play good for the first 1/3rd of the season then they start falling apart around Halloween before becoming a non factor. That probably doesn't happen this year because the lousy Dolphins and atrocious Jets. Patriots are where I expected them to be in the post Brady era.
AFC North
Steelers 3-0 Browns 3-1 Ravens 3-1 Bengals 1-2-1
Considering what happened last season with the Big Ben injury and the fact that the team is getting old, the Steelers being undefeated right now is my choice for overachiever so far this year. A lot of people (me included) thought this would be the downswing of the Big Ben Steelers era but they find ways to stay in the mix! Browns are another overachiever right now. They have the talent but were undisciplined. At the moment they actually look like a pro team! Ravens cruising along nicely, had a good season last year and waiting to see if they can take the next step. Bengals are where they should be. They still have a few more seasons to build something before they start taking first place in the North I think.
AFC
West
Chiefs 4-0 Raiders 2-2 Broncos 1-3 Chargers 1-3
Super Bowl champs leaving everybody in the division in the dust! Raiders doing fine and need a few more seasons to improve. Broncos are beat up, Chargers are rebooting in the post Rivers era. This division is what I expected it to look like.
AFC South
Titans 3-0 Colts 3-1 Jaguars 1-3 Texans 0-4
Titans sitting in first right now after their storybook playoff run last season. I thought the Colts would need more time to actually start looking like the Peyton Manning era but they have really bounced back from those last few terrible Luck seasons. Jaguars? Same old same old! Texans are a dumpster fire! I had them penciled in for fighting for first place! No surprise they canned Bill O'Brien.

Heard a few stories as the author did the podcast rounds, sounds like an amazing read.

They lost at Seattle, & at Kansas City using both backup QBs. 10-6 is still on track. Dolphins will probably steal a couple with Tua late in the year, finishing 3rd. Jets going for Lawrence, where's Darnold going to land, Minnesota?

Patriots' Stephon Gilmore positive for COVID. Uh-oh. It's a shame too, because we're playing a bad team this week so you just know he would've looked great. (Kidding, I like Gilmore even if I think he's the 3rd best #24 we've ever had). But this isn't good. Pats have shut down practice, my Sunday may have just opened up.

Also, another player on the Titans has tested positive. "This puts Sundayβs game between the Bills and Titans in jeopardy. Titans were expected to return to their facility today, that canβt happen now." NFL teams not named the Titans and Patriots:

This is not good. What's the point of making coaches wear masks on the sideline when sweaty players can literally breathe into each other's faces at end of the game (and let's face it, during the game)?
