Prove me wrong.
I think if you’re born a man, or a woman. That’s who you are.

Question for you. How would you classify a baby that is born with the sexual organs of male and female? For a long time now doctors have just been doing a 50/50 guess and altering the child shortly after birth. isna.org/faq/what_is_intersex/Of course, this isn't to say that everyone identifying as a transgender these days really is.

I haven't brushed up on my transgender terminology in quite a while but...correct me if im wrong. Transgender is a person born of one sex (male or female) that identifies as another sex (male or female). So in order for transgender to be a thing then social norms for male and females need to be a thing. Now for a while i thought the general ideology was to kind of eliminate those expected social norms for male and female...but it seems the transgender label is counterintuitive to that cause. So now im just over here being a cis white male sipping my coffee not really caring what other people call themselves.

There's actually a subset of feminists called TERFs (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist) who point this out, but they're considered a whacko fringe group. Otherwise, we're supposed to believe gender is a social construct but that you can be born the wrong gender. It's kind of like an atheist who was born Jewish but identifies as Catholic. It doesn't make any sense to me. But hey, live and let live.

Transgender is a social construct. Only the male/female dichotomy is real. And I can prove it. In other words, there are only two real sexes. And they're both incumbent on the gonads, whether one is born with ovaries or testicles.
Now, there is a rare deformity called intersex or hermaphroditism. Only one in 83,000 people are born with this condition where they have an "ovotestis", organs which are part ovary and part testes. But this queer condition is always more one than the other. So even these unforunates can be classed as either more male or more female. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_hermaphroditismIf anyone wishes to prove there are more than two biological sexes or genders, please show us a gonad which is neither male nor female nor very rarely a fusion of both. So sure, there can be 50 "genders" if you believe some bizarre social construct is a "gender". But biologically, there are only two.
Chromosomes.

Yeah, gender "science" did a 180 on that one. For the longest time gender was a "social construct". Now we are supposed to accept that some people with male genitals have female brains, and vice-versa, which directly contradicts the "social construct" theory.

Sure there are 5 or 6 different chromosomal patters depending on which witch doctor you believe. But they all manifest themselves physically in only two ways: 1) Male with testes or mostly testicular or 2) Female with ovaries or mostly ovarian. I'm agreeing with you - two types XX and XY with different variations for abnormalities, but the basic construct is female or male.

It used to be that transsexuals (as they were originally known) were people who felt they were born into the wrong sex and sought to either get a sex change or to simply live as the opposite sex. Thinking back to the transsexuals who were in the public eye decades ago, not one of them ever said that their sex was anything other than male or female. I think you guys are confusing transsexualism with "non-binary" or something along those lines. The whole "105 different genders" crap is a 21st century concoction. Somewhere along the line, the "transsexual" term became "transgender" and the SJWs of society adopted that term and turned it into an umbrella term to refer to various different kinds of gender expression.
I don't get the whole DNA argument because since when are people judged by their DNA in everyday life?? It seems more like people who dislike trans people just wanna use that as way to take a swipe at them.

I'm agreeing with you - two types XX and XY with different variations for abnormalities, but the basic construct is female or male. Okay. But the average person can't test chromosomes. It doesn't matter. At the core, you're biologically either female or male. What you identify as is an entirely different matter, and still open to discussion. Growing up, I liked following my dad around, learned basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry. I loved watching him fix cars, change the oil, change the plugs (gapping them), changing belts, checking timing, etc., etc. I like doing more "boy" things than "girl" things. I had a lot of friends who were boys. We played army. But I always "identified" as female. ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/gf93ycxax/giveup.gif) So, I don't get it.
