Swanson was fairly well known in mid and low budget film way back-sort of the endangered species blonde white woman star.
They actually a cast a blonde European woman for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 30 years ago.
Hollywood likes to treat them like Marylin Munster now.

Huh, last I checked there are fans of her portrayal as Buffy almost as equally as Geller's... There really aren't. Gellar has eclipsed Swanson in that respect. Her portrayal made Buffy a cultural icon. Heck, there are university classes taught on Buffy as a show, with Swanson just a footnote as the original actress. You mistake me for saying a majority, I am not.

Swanson is, jokingly, suggesting being edited out of two pictures where they had fairly small roles in, also its not just The Last Jedi Star Wars fans want to be made non canon it's the entire sequel trilogy but it doesn't need to be erased in order for it to be considered non canon Lucasfilm can suggest its a potential outcome in its multiverse and not the general franchise like the old extended universe was before Disney's acquisition.

They probably don't even know it exists, Home Alone 2 gets aired about 500 times a year between AMC and ABC Family.

Possibly the only time in movie history when somebody was killed with a basketball. But yes, it is nice little horror gem that I haven't seen since the 80s, so it's time for a rewatch.

Swanson was definitely a known actress in the late 80's to early to mid 90's, she's been active since then but rarely on any huge productions. If The Last Jedi were to be cited as part of the multiverse, which is part of Star Wars canon, per Disney's decision it wouldn't be 'suppression of information' it and its predecessor and sequel would just be viewed as an alternative timeline, genius.
