The hell was with Laura Palmer's mother? Sarah was supernatural in the old show. It was hinted at she was inhabited by a black lodge denizen.
I forgot about that scene Sarah Palmer indeed displayed some sort of psychic powers in the first seasons, on several occasions.
She seems to have moved beyond a mild case of psychic powers though, now she's full-on possessed

I'm guessing the little girl the creature crawled inside in episode 8 was supposed to be her (hence the horse references) and that was when it happened. Her story might have been retconned a couple of times. There seems to be some type of darkness developing around the town (the vomiting child, rashes, oozing wounds ect) so maybe that triggered it/made it worse.

Also I'm a fan of Lissie now.
I've been listening to this all day.

Well, that episode was pretty calm, again. Seems like all the pieces are in play now, just waiting for both Coops to come to Twin Peaks now. Three more episodes to go, I wonder how much more filler we are going to get. 4, no? Did anyone notice the glove on James' co-worker when the first episode aired? I always go back to listen to Shadow after watching the newest episode. I admit I didn't see it on his hand.

I posted this on reddit asking if the 3rd season is better than the first two. I couldn't help but post poelzig's past comments & of course... I got downvoted.

God damn this is an imperfect masterpiece. It was so nerve-racking to watch evil Cooper with the half visible bums. Shame it's almost over!

The scene with Ed & Norma really felt like old times.

www.showbiz411.com/2017/08/15/ratings-disaster-showtimes-twin-peaks-reboot-fails-to-make-top-150-cable-shows-for-sunday-night“Twin Peaks” has just three episodes to go (the finale September 3 is a double), but it’s over as far as everyone is concerned. The Showtime reboot failed to make the top 150 cable shows on Sunday night. It was beaten by everything. The number 150 show, “Ouija: Origin of Evil” on Cinemax Prime, scored 124,000 viewers. “Twin Peaks” was somewhere below that, in a space that can’t be counted. Even I couldn’t be counted since I was at the Khalid show and watched the extremely daunting Part 14 on the Showtime press site.

"100 percent"
God, that was probably the most satisfying moment of the series.

Tonight was the best episode in awhile. Feels like the story is finally moving forward and things are happening. They really should have just let Lynch do the original 9 or so episodes instead of spreading it to 17.

The Chantal and Hutch conclusion was...unexpected. Anyway, I'm gonna seriously miss this show after it's over.

When Cooper awoke it felt so awesome and hearing the main theme!! Felt like Heaven!

I don't know who's idea it was now that you mention it, but considering it feels like 9 episodes stretched out to *18, I assume it wasn't Lynch's. I know at first Lynch was gonna walk because of budget concerns, and when he came back the episode number doubled. Perhaps Showtime agreed to give him more money if he made more episodes? I could be totally wrong, I just know there's been a lot of (what I would call) filler.

There was a fair amount of filler in the original show too. The whole James Hurley storyline outside of Twin Peaks was ridiculous, imo.
But it was a delightful episode yesterday. Finally! He's back But only two episodes are left, we had to wait 16 episodes before we got Cooper back, that's way too long.
I'm guessing the whole Audrey in a coma is pretty much confirmed now. Which makes me wonder what parts we've seen so far were real to begin with

I doubt we'll ever see Billy Zane's character on this show again. Even Sherilyn Fenn hated John Justice Wheeler. And then Lara Flynn Boyle seems to be on bad terms with the rest of the cast and Lynch.

I wonder how they will tie up Red's storyline. Since the actor was the main character of Lost Highway, I was expecting him to have a much bigger part.
