I would also never have them killed or assaulted in any kind of way. Aw, how large of you. Problem is, in the real world of human psychology, gays being killed and assaulted is always going to be a direct consequence of your attitude's existence. You can't have one without the other. Your dumb as fuck refusal to accept gay people as full human beings deserving of equal rights is part of the same network of ideology which gets them killed and assaulted. B.S.

I would also never have them killed or assaulted in any kind of way. And you want points for that? Shall we say, "How nice of her! While she WOULD have gay people treated under the law as unequal to straight people, at least she wouldn't have them assaulted or killed!" It's all about one's morals, Isapop. The fact of the matter is, I do not see homosexuality as a correct form of sexuality. While I feel bad for those who are wired with those leanings, I do not support it. Just as I would also never support 2 siblings or even 2 first generation cousins marry either.

How I feel about someone's morality does not interfere with the principle that all people should be treated equally under the law. But your moral disapproval of gay people translates into your desire to see the state treat them as second-class citizens regarding legal marriage. Desiring that a classification of people be treated as unequal before the law is a bigoted position.

Sadly, that isn't bullshit... The demonisation of LGBT+ people that you engage in does create the conditions whereby some people engage in violence against the LGBT+ community. You can pretend it doesn't, but it does. You are sowing the seeds of hatred.

Desiring that a classification of people be treated as unequal before the law is a bigoted position. ^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^ The principal of equality under the law is universal, while morality varies from person to person. The principal takes precedence legally, since we are free to believe and practice any religion or morality we choose, UNLESS it breaks the law of the land. That is what a democratic republic secular society is based on. Don't like it? One has the option to move to a country ruled by religion.

Yes, or another option is to simply follow your conscience when one votes in the country that they live in.

You are so far out of date, detached from the laity and the clergy of today. And you clearly don't understand that the Catechism of the Catholic Church isn't a fixed set of rules. It is time, place, and culture dependant. And time has left you behind... You represent only a small and shrinking minority of Catholic thinking today. ![](https://bishoppatbuckleydotblog.files.wordpress.com/2021/07/screenshot_20210720-161123_samsunginternet.jpg?w=1024)

No he's right, your condemnation of homosexuality is implicit acceptance that those that perform it are less than others, and encourages those who have violent tendencies to think that it is ok to act on them. What do you think the whole rape culture conversation is about, why on earth would this be any different?

The Catholic Church teaches that people who are gay or lesbian must remain chaste, just as single straight people must. That priest & parish that you are showing are not following the Church. Sorry.

What do you think the whole rape culture conversation is about, why on earth would this be any different? No, my views do not encourage anybody to attack these people. They are human beings. Anybody who attacks another human being belongs in prison. Here in the GTA, we actually did have a serial killer who preyed on gay men. He was caught thank God, & is now in jail for the rest of his miserable life.

Im sorry but you are fooling yourself, acceptance of derision and othering is the first step towards violence and implicit acceptance of the same. I notice you did not respond to the rape culture question.

What rape culture question? What do you think the conversation around rape culture is about, why would this be any different? And what exactly IS the rape culture?

Rape is heinous crime, & people who commit should have their asses thrown in prison. Case closed.
