No, they wrote off the MCU the second it started telling stories about women and nonwhites. Which says a lot about the "fans". Quite a claim to make, care to explain why there wa demand for a Black Widow movie as soon as The Avengers (2012) came out, why Jessica Jones received three seasons of television, Luke Cage being streamed so much that it temporarily crashed Netflix, the immediate praise of Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War and the critical and commercial success of his own solo movie? There was no real demand for a Black Widow movie, in fact when it was announced the response was apathy.
Jessica Jones fell apart within 9 episode of its first season and never recovered and most of the "fans" admit they really watched it for the Purple Man.
Luke Cage similarly fell apart within its first season and never recovered which is why we keep hearing complaints about Diamondback being in it and Cottonmouth dying.
Er, you're forgetting how there was a massive backlash to Black Panther because certain folks thought his entire character was ridiculous and broke the MCU's history.

But if there is something presented in adaptation that you don't like that was done similarly in the source material is it still a case of being double standard, or no? No, I was talking specifically about Fury knowing his wife has been a Skrull the whole time and didn't confront her about it till recent events. How is that type of screenwriting as good as the quality of what was presented in Phases 1 and 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Er, how is it bad screenwriting? He simply decided to ask her outright why and how she adopted her human form. It's not like she was hiding being a Skrull from him. Not going to answer either of my questions, aren't we? It looks like when it comes to questions and answers you pick and choose...Double standards, as you would put it.

False. Lasted three full seasons. Last two seasons, on its opening weekend the first season was being streamed so much it temporarily crashed Netflix. Too small a number to be given the time of day, the character was well received in Civil War and his solo movie was a massive commercial and critical hit and became the first superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture.

Truth. When her movie was announced the hope it would really be about her and Hawkeye and Fury, not just her because the "fans" didn't think Natasha was worth it.
The first two were because of David Tennant's presence, the 3rd was received less because he wasn't in it in any form. The "fans" made it clear they didn't value Jessica.
2 Seasons, the 2nd being the end because of the diminishing returns after the first season fell apart.
Yes and the reaction from the "fans" was how it had to be some kind of PC Conspiracy and there's no way the film could have really been a success.

If memory serves, you were one of the people on the messages boards for IMDb Prime who was arguing that a Black Widow movie was likely from the popularity of Scarlett Johansson's portrayal in the films she had appeared in up to that point especially The Avengers (2012). In addition, you argued to anyone not in favor that they were in the minority in feeling it wasn't necessary or needed because of how well liked the character was in the general public at the time. David Tennant wasn't in the second season of Jessica Jones, he only has an audio cameo in the final scene of the third and last season of the series. Krysten Ritter's portrayal of Jessica Jones is fairly liked and she is said to make a return as the character in an upcoming Marvel Studios project. Luke Cage was cancelled because of a conflict of interests between Disney and Netflix, from the showrunner - linkWho cares? They were a minority of people, the movie was a crowd pleasing success.

Fury being married to a Skrull is better than the writing in Iron Mans 2 and 3, Age of Ultron, Ant-Man 1, Thor 2 and equal to the writing in First Avenger, Thor 1 and Iron Man 1. I fail to see how it's a bad idea

He was shown in promotional material for S2 and appeared as a hallucination, which is what the "fans" were wanting all along and "endured" the non-Killgrave episodes for.
They want Jessica back as a supporting character to Daredevil, they have no interest in her being a lead anymore.
That's just the Showrunner trying to pass blame along.
That this conspiracy stuff existed at all and still exists to this day says a lot.

From what I remember, the majority of topics being discussed about the movie at the time was what the plot was going to be, when it would take place, if Scarlett Johansson was the right choice of actress for the character, if there should be other Avengers in it, if it should be more of a straight-up superhero movie or more of a spy thriller, if a female led superhero movie would do well at the box office (as this was before the Wonder Woman got off the ground and Captain Marvel hadn't been announced yet), and who should the director be. People questioning its existence were very few, and the people straight up hating it even less so and were trolls that regularly hung around the message boards for DC related media that was just put out (like The Dark Knight Rises) or coming out (like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice). I stand corrected that Kilgrave did appear in the second season of Jessica Jones, but it was only for one scene. And besides playing a part in Jessica's trauma that is explored further in the season, he doesn't serve a role in the plot and isn't its antagonist, either. The show was definitely not based around him, Krysten Ritter was absolutely its star. If rumors are true, they are bringing her back because her portrayal of the character was well received. Please, enlighten us on the difference between a fan and a "fan". And you are better informed than the series creator and showrunner because..? Didn't stop the movie from being a critical and commercial success, and the best superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture by the Academy Awards.

Yeah, most have written off the MCU. But that happens with every franchise when it has one too many bad instalments. No, they wrote off the MCU the second it started telling stories about women and nonwhites. Which says a lot about the "fans". IDK man, it doesn’t help that these films ‘about women and nonwhites’ happen to suck regardless of the diversity. Plus it’s not like I like Moon Knight any better. Oscar Isaac is white enough yet that show sucked. Nor did I like Loki.

The idea of a Widow movie actually about Natasha herself didn't come up much because most didn't think she was worth it.
That one scene was what the "fans" were waiting for the entire season and most tuned out when they realized that one scene would be it for him. They felt Ritter wasn't enough to hold the show.
They'd like her back as a supporting character to Matt, not as a lead of her own story.
A "fan" is someone who gets mad anytime they see a woman or nonwhite in the MCU and the white males in the story aren't the uncontested leads. Fake Fans who can't accept the world has moved on from the 1950s.
I see someone trying to cover themselves when I see one. The show's ratings and reception was middling in S2 and they tried to blame Disney for it.
And yet we still get people who sincerely think it was all faked by Disney and they rigged the Academy as well. Says a lot

Yeah, I'm seeing the pattern here.

Makee sure you guys use condoms to be safe! Nah, not my type, him lying about friends of mine is a big no for me. He can re-watch She-Hulk all over again at the hotel room by himself (which he will have to pay for). But in all seriousness, he is clearly setting up another batch of endless traps that would make the thread go on for pages on end.

Better overall plot, pacing, characters.
So, double standards. (By the way, the updating of Star Wars really doesn't done the brand any good. To quote you, it says a lot when a Star Wars inspired product like Rebel Moon trends higher than the two-part premiere of Ahsoka) Too lazy to effectively troll, aren't we today?

Star Wars' problem wasn't the updating, it was waiting so long to update. The Sequels should have been made in the mid 90s and ROTJ should have left more room for continuation.
