Aren't they looking for a new stadium, & rightly so? Chicago can reclaim itself as a big boy NFL town, rather than the NFC North pushover they've been since what, 1987? Last I knew they were in talks for a new stadium. They were talking about a lot that would take them out of Chicago like an hour or so north I think. Negotiations weren't going great last I heard but that was last year. They definitely need a new stadium as Soldier Field is a trashcan. Always hear complaints about their field. The one thing I'll say is underrated about Soldier 2.0 - it looks & seems like an arena, with stands intimately on top of the play as it were. I wonder - new stadium, do they quit the messy 'Bears football' environs & put a roof on it? I suppose they have to for any SB hosting chances, which the league would love.

L'Jarius Sneed traded to the Titans.
Kansas City is expected to receive a 2025 third-round pick from Tennessee. The Chiefs and Titans will also swap picks in the seventh round.
Additionally, Sneed will sign a new contract with Tennessee that is expected to make him one of the highest-paid corners in league history.
The deal is contingent on Sneed passing a physical.

Apparently, the entire Good Morning Football show is moving to Los Angeles, affecting nearly every single person on that show on & off camera.
NFL Network, maybe isn't going to last, gets moved/sold to Amazon or Apple sooner than later.

Bye weeks will be over by then, but Saturday games will be played. The teams playing on Christmas will have played on the previous Saturday. So they will have the same rest as if they played Sunday and then Thursday.

Christmas teams get Saturday time slot to themselves, & then again on the 25th back to back nationally televised. I wonder if the Bears are in the mix for those - likely out of the playoff race, without rest to worry about, & Caleb vs. Tatum for tv ratings.

Eagles sending Hassan Reddick to the Jets for a 2026 3rd that can become a 2nd based on playing time and double digit sacks. Jets must not have high hopes for Will McDonald last years 1st round pick. If that's the case they should have just kept Bryce Huff who oddly signed with the Eagles.

Mock chatter now seems to be Patriots trading down & out from 3. I guess it wouldn't be a complete disaster, but going from a probable able QB in the Josh Allen division to hoping lower picks pan out is a bizarre proposition for me right now. 'Probable able' should be banned from the English language.

On the written page, it breaks my concentration.

'Probable able' should be banned from the English language. It'll always come down to the return they get and if they hit on those players. That said the QB they draft could be a bust as well. I see the argument for both sides being valid. The only argument I dont agree with is "they gotta draft a QB here because you don't know if you will have this high a pick again." No offense, but I dont think the Patriots will have that issue in that division atm. They don't exactly have a roster set up for a rookie QB to succeed and Mayo is going into his first year as HC so he isn't in an immediate win now mode. They could wait a couple years before drafting a QB and Brissett is very capable of holding the job for a year or so. Only concern is that next years class isn't expected to be good but that can always change. Guys like Joe Burrow came outta no where to be great #1 picks.

Affirmative - constantly bad franchises who keep striking out on QB's, when if that's the only high capital they're focusing on, of course a young green starting QB is set up to fail. If Maye goes in & they finish 5-12, they'll still get chance for quality draft picks, without having to rely on a top 3 to build on. I think that's what I would do - take the QB in 2024 now, & then plug in around him... then again, this is the Rookie-QB-Contract-Is-Gold era, which is a shame because it stunts the league as a whole. Burrow, Herbert, Allen... are their teams dead now having to pay them? As it is, I would hope & expect Brissett to start at least the first 6-8 games, & only when they're officially out of the playoffs, start the rookie.

As it is, I would hope & expect Brissett to start at least the first 6-8 games, & only when they're officially out of the playoffs, start the rookie. They're not dead but they are in much harder positions. Bengals have probably 1 more season with this core and Higgins tagged if they don't trade him. Next season they gotta pay Chase as well. Herbert and the Chargers are already in a rebuild as they unload huge cap hits and change coaches. Harbaugh is a very good coach so that rebuild may not last very long but imo they are far from competing in the next couple years. The Bills while not rebuilding are retooling and I think their big window has closed as they just couldn't get past the Chiefs. You always have a chance with an elite QB but now more so than ever you gotta take any and all advantages you can get while Mahomes Reid and company have the league in a death grip. Maybe the Pats take their QB this year and spend big next season to surround him? Get a WR like Higgins maybe? Draft a WR in R2 this year in such a deep class? I hear the defense doesn't need much work but I'm waiting to see how they look without Belichick. This draft is one of the most exciting in recent memory. A lot of moving around could happen and a lot of teams up in the air on what they do.

Wentz is about to be a 2x world champion. Would he have the all time best snaps to rings ratio? Well Henne is also a 2x champion just by sitting on KC's bench. Gabbert is the same, backed up Brady in TB and Mahomes in KC.
