Dead or alive, I'm Robocop 3.
This was so disappointing it made the pizza I was eating taste bad. It might have actually been the switch that turned me from a hopeful young boy into a fatalistic man with balled up fists full of the shards of his shattered hopes and dreams.

Yeah, that was close to gut wrenching, though the first film's quaint first half is quite likeable enough. Going from legendary LOTR to mailed in cgi follow up... daymn. LOTR played all the more epic after watching Five Armies' nonsense.

I thought of two more. The Force Awakens and The Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight Rises Prometheus The Simpsons Movie Superman Returns Independence Day: Resurgence Agree with The Simpsons Movie. That should have been a lot more epic than it was in terms of the story and the use of characters, and I was quietly optimistic that they'd be able to recapture the form from the earlier seasons (2-10) for a film version. I was wrong. Barring the odd funny scenes it was a let down. Even the DVD has very little extras when I would have expected the writers to go to town on that.
