That's not how making films work. It is when it's small budgets movies tossed in the Dump Months where expected failures usually go. Fortunately this "We think its gonna bomb" attitude kept the Fox Execs AWAY from the project and left in the hands of Reynolds. This is the same guy who went around the MCU board posting every perceived timeline "fault" right after Spider-Man: Homecoming was released just to be an asshole. He's an MCU hater who can't accept that the execs at 20th century Fox have no idea what they're doing, through and through. Hell, he LIKES X-Men: Apocalypse. That right there says everything you need to know about him. |

That's not how making films work. Oh, look, here's Hand Dumbass again insist that every business and creative decision Fox makes is good and superior to all the competition. So how will you be trying to discredit the idea that the filmmakers of Deadpool were given a lot of creative freedom and therefore deserve no kudos for how the film turned out? And as far as Rachel goes, what is so wrong with her being a major player as his daughter? After we see Jean and Scott alive and well at the end of DOFP, we don't know much of anything about their lives in this timeline. Rachel can be introduced, since it is a different timeline... even more different if Laura goes back to help Xavier curb those seizures and get Logan on his boat. In my script, Rachel changes her name for the reasons I said. He cheated on Jean with her clone. Girl power wins out. She decides to stick by her sisters or in this case, her mother and reject her father. Now, it is up to Cyclops to change, change her opinion of him and save their relationship. That sounds like great modern drama to me. Jesus Christ. I think you just want to see everything they've established thrown out for more Marvel quirky comedy from pull-string toys. That's what I think. You will never give the future of this franchise any chance or hope will you? This series needs to git gud no matter who makes it. Also, when did Scott ever cheat on Jean with Madelyne Pryor? Didn't happen in the comics. She was dead and he was under psychic control. If anything, he cheated on Madelyne with Jean. Having Rachel get so mad at that that she changes her last name to her mom's maiden name is manufactured, inorganic drama. Now, if she was mad that he moved on to a woman that looked exactly like her mom, that would be a different story. Her getting mad that her mom was actually alive and he "didn't even look for her" would be a another story. But her getting mad for him cheating... Nah. The way you are going about it is just making Rachel out to be an impulsive, emotional wreck. "You ate one of my french fries?! Everyone dies at this injustice!" If he did this in the past, and it was under a psychic attack, how is he suppose to change? How is he suppose to prove to her he has changed? If Xavier forces Scott to use his optic blast on a crowd of kids, does that make Scott the child killer or Xavier? Would she get mad at Scott for killing all those kids and change his ways or will they have to go after Xavier? Stupid manufactured melodrama just for the sake of having drama. |

How old will that girl be by 2020? 15? Yeah, she would be old enough to lead an X-23 movie. We don't need that. 'Logan' was a pretty definitive chronological ending for the franchise. Anything that takes place afterwards would just ruin the impact of the film. Come on, fox will do it. Logan made money so they'll capitalize on it by bringing back X-23. |
