Disney can’t do anything until at least 2020. We'll be hearing thing from camp Disney well before 2020. We likely won’t. “If the deal goes through, it likely wouldn’t close until late 2018. Disney would then spend much of 2019 integrating the two companies’ assets, including cable-television networks, international TV distributors and a film and television studio.”

At the very least. Could be longer. But Bob Iger stated he is interested in Fox’s plans.

At the very least. Could be longer. But Bob Iger stated he is interested in Fox’s plans. Glad you got that Crystal Ball you always wanted for Christmas. The rest of us will just have to wait and see, won't we? This deal is in the prelims, we'll be lucky if 10% of what is said or promised now actually comes to pass.

The rest of us will just have to wait and see, won't we? This deal is in the prelims, we'll be lucky if 10% of what is said or promised now actually comes to pass. I imagine that the current franchise will run on a bit longer for a definitive conclusion before rebooting. Since Feige’s career stated with X1 and he is friends with Donner. Then have some cool cameos in a Doctor Strange movie.
