All reports say that Venus entered the intersection before the light was red. The old woman, approaching a red light, should have been prepared to stop.
It was a tragic accident, but like the police I find Venus was not at fault.

It was a tragic accident, but like the police I find Venus was not at fault. It's a very wide intersection divided by a median. She entered the intersection when the light was green, but was only by the median when the light turned red and the other light then turned green. She should have stayed there, but she creeped forward into the 2nd side of the intersection. And they did find her at fault, though did not cite her.

I am a defensive driver and watch what all the other cars are doing at all times. As far as fault, there are no fault accidents. It happens all the time, but if what NJtoTX said is true and Venus creeped into the 2nd part of the intersection while the her light was red she is at fault.

Yanks seemed to have dropped off in the last decade.
Some guy called Sock is the highest US seed apparently.

I never even think about the countries these dudes are from. I just like good tennis. Although a home favorite is pretty obvious when the fans are into it.

Venus's opponent Wang is quite pretty. She just went a break up:

Bethanie Mattek-Sands went down with a knee blowout, screaming (help me!! fuck!!...) for about 3 minutes straight. Taken off on stretcher.

Federer down 3-4 in the 1st set. He can't solve Lajovic's serve.

Officials scratch their arses as she screams in agony

Federer down 3-4 in the 1st set. He can't solve Lajovic's serve. A couple of scratchy games in one set does not keep THE MAN down. Federer predictably rolls through.

Venus's opponent Wang is quite pretty. She just went a break up: looks like a man in drag with a 5 o'clock shadow on her upper lip and uses a #1 Wahl Army buzzcut attachment on her clipper for her eyebrows. martina hingis will always be my baby

I like 'tough chicks'. And she does look cute in a couple of these pics (bullish in others). Looks to have a bit of honker on her like she may have went 10 rounds with Tyson. The pic at 22 seconds - I think she's adorable: Link: Bethanie

I just gained a great deal of respect for 'The Joker' - via an interview I just saw on ESPN.
Mac came out and stated he reminded him of Tiger Woods - problems with the wife and then was just never the same again.
Djokovic was smiling the whole time and took things with stride saying he's always gotten along with McEnroe and he says things that are politically incorrect and while warming up and Mac was doing a telecast - he sent a serve 'his way' - all with a smile on his face and taking things in stride.
Nice to see from a guy I viewed as a 'robot' like Sampras back in the day. Nice to see some emotion from these guys - - like we've seen with Fed and Nadal as they've gotten older - but not just emotion - some class, graciousness and gratitude (like we saw from a young punk turned 'Man' Agassi late in his career who turned the charm on bigtime in the twilight of his late years).

I'm sort of a Djokovic fan. I'm not sure he'll get back to where he was a year ago. Doubtful.
