Weird - I was watching Venus hit a first serve into the net. The way she hit it made me instantly say "she's going to double fault." Damned if she didn't hit the next one into the net. About to win following the rain delay.

If you pull out into the street and have to stop in a place that impedes oncoming traffic, for whatever reason, and someone hits you, you are at fault. In other words, don't block intersections. On the other hand, common sense tells you if a car is blocking your intersection when your light turns green, don't hit it. This would explain why Venus was not cited,. You have to wonder how attentive the older woman driver was to the conditions in front of her.

You have to wonder how attentive the older woman driver was to the conditions in front of her. wonder what the speed limit was of the intersection of both ends. i.e. was it a 45 mph plus or considered a 'highway' or like 20 mph. it's an interesting topic. needless to say whether she's guilty or innocent i'm think that weighs on you for the rest of your life..... i've gotten myself in awkward positions in the past where i was a little impatient as the light was 'green' and decided i'm going to chance it and go into the intersection as it's currently bottle necked - but these are ares i'm familiar with in a highly populated area where the light changes constantly and the speed limit is 25 mph.......just looking to beat a light

Elderly woman hit her, her passenger died. i gotta be honest here and this may not seem like the popular opinion. seems like both drivers werent being careful - that being said - this isn't a bottleneck in downtown Philly during rush hour where you're backed up for 20 minutes to move 2 blocks. after williams stopped at the 'medium' after seeing it was bottlenecked - she just proceeded to roll forward. now i know the other car should be on alert - but how many times have you (others) myself, seen a car stop, seen a light change and just keep rolling. the suv looks like it stops at the intersection when it's bottlenecked and just for some reason decides to try to crawl like a turtle to roll through...... now granted - it didn't even look like the other car slowed her roll - but again - let's be blunt - how many of us have that 'spidey vision' where yes - we can actually see what's going on with the traffic light perpendicular to us.... this to me looks like the SUVs fault ....

The video was done by a company selling its recreations as a product. This is based on the information given. There may have been many other cars nearby that were not described in the police report. In Austin, getting caught in an intersection downtown when the light turns red gets you a ticket, but not where I live. That is one wide-ass intersection. Speed limit could be 35-55, I suppose, on the woman's street. Venus has had some other driving issues: heavy.com/news/2017/06/venus-williams-car-crash-jerome-barson-78-dead-dies-fatal/

But given that her light was red and the other driver's light was green, I need to know a lot more info than I'm getting. Mainly whether there was a driver next to the woman who had stopped for Venus and blocked her view of her car until she appeared in front of her. The second animation, by the news report, shows one. The first, by the company, does not. And was anyone on the grassy knoll.

do you have yellow ioxes in the sates that are there to stop these sort of things - however you can still get jammed in them if some idiot driver pushes you into one or gets round you to make you stop in one.

Federer and Djokovic just had 2 opponents retire on Centre Court. Both a couple of games past the 1st set. Some people paid top dollar just to see one of those.
