Dexter in s06, with the Colin Hanks/Edward James Olmos storyline with the twist EVERYONE saw coming in the first episode AND the "Debra wants to fuck Dexter, fully supported by her psychiatrist" at the same time. Game of Thrones in the last few episodes of s05. Between Ramsay Snow becoming a ninja, Stannis burning his daughter (and then the writers pathetically trying to say they followed exactly what happened in the books, which was patently false), "you want a good girl but need a bad pussy", etc, it was clear to me that it was time to go. Actually the producers said they followed the outline of George RR Martin. Unless they are lying and Martin never bothered to correct them, Stannis will at least give the order to burn Shireen. That line was horrible though.

When Debra found out she was in love with Dexter in season 6...
Although season 7 was entertaining

The Leftovers jumped the shark when the new cast was introduced in season 2. This is the wrongest answer ever in the history of wrong answers.

Game Of Thrones rode the dragon just before the end of Season 5. If GoT's was able to jump the shark it would be the moment that everyone's favorite ridiculous fanfiction became reality and revealed Martin to be less of a genius than previously believed.

That line was horrible though. No, but they are lying. They said they're just following the books, however that's blatantly false because in the books Shireen stayed in the Wall while Stannis is trying to take Winterfell, so they're a thousand miles away from each other. Also, makes absolutely no sense for Stannis to do that to try to take Winterfell the way the story is set up (and like I said- a thousand miles away) so, no, they're not portraying what happened or will happen in the books. So, either Stannis won't be burning Shireen (which is most likely) and if someone burns her, it won't be him, or if he does is in an entirely different context much later. So, yes, they lied. It's also a dick move to spoil content from the books- they knew it was horribly written and out of character, so they had to come with an excuse.

If they are lying, then George RR Martin didn't bother correcting them. The circumstances might different, sure. For example, he might send a raven telling Melisandre to do it. But apparently that will happen in the next book (assuming it's ever released). Sorry, it's not a dick move. If you wanted to avoid spoilers, you could've avoided watching the season because season 5 was announced has having scenes from Winds of Winter and season 6 to be entirely based on unreleased material. It's not D&D fault that Martin is lazy and let the show caught up with the books. The show started in 2010 with A Dance of Dragons being released in 2011. He had four years to release The Winds of Winter... He didn't. It's his fault. And out of character? Stannis, the guy who was willing to sacrifice his own nephew Edric Storm because Melisandre told him to do it?

GRRM never was a genius, just a fat wanker writing over the top juvenile fantasy crap. The show's been better than the book until they got complete freedom to dumb it down for better revenue.

Probably a waste of time.
