Nah, it cost less to make so it still did better than ASM2.

Everyone that wanted to see it saw it opening week and now it's plummeting. Sadly for the mcu, pandering to silly white kids that like to think of themselves as "enlightened" has proven to be a huge mistake. Loading the movie with black folks didn't bring in the black audiences. It's almost like black folks have the ability to think for themselves. Maybe white libs and the mcu brain trust will learn something from this but I doubt it. They will just double the number of swarthy folks for the next mcu. Black Panther won't have any silly crackers in it except for the villains of course.

Everyone else is Black.

Franchise fatigue. I know quite a few comic book movie fans that didn't see it.
And weird raptor owes them all money!

Maybe DCEU fans finally understand the concept of not going to see things they don't like. If only they would understand the concept of not talking about it without seeing it. But they are too dumb to understand anything.

That would mean that most people who saw more successful MCU movies did so out of spite. Odd theory. Why can't we just accept that people are burnt out on constant reboots that offer very little by way of new ideas?

Why can't we just accept that people are burnt out on constant reboots that offer very little by way of new ideas? Your interpretation is blatantly obvious. It was demonstrated already with other top SH characters and their - relatively - disappointing box office results, such as MOS and BvS. The message is clear: people (naturally) do not want old characters regurgitated for the umpteenth time, but prefer fresh second row material such as MCU heroes, WW or even Aquaman. MCU fan's interpretation "may be" blatantly absurd and stupid a adhom deflection. But if it helps him sleep at night let him keep his fanboy pacifier and lets not disturb his intellectual slumber...

Why do people always think that the MCU will fail or that Spidey will be removed from the MCU? It's asinine.
In business, profits are the only thing that matter (not in my mind, but it's how capitalism works). If a product or service is profitable, it will be available until it is no longer seen as profitable. In the movie industry, that means that the franchise will keep going until people no longer like that franchise. There are no other factors to consider.

It's the third attempt in 15 years people are tired of Spiderman especially when there is not much thats exciting or new this time around MCU dictator Kevin Feige has said that they plan to make a Spider-Man movie for each year that he's in high school. So it's going to be the same boring shit 3 more times.
