If wormhole was still alive, "for the kids, as marvel films are for kiddies" would be an apt response.

Will it feature the Benny Hill music theme during the final fight? Ok, so it's completely baffling why you guys try to make it sound like humor is a bad thing, and here's an example.
I've started going to dinner theaters to watch these, because they are events. You have snacks, you're at a table, you have drinks, you have dinner, and everybody in the theater is having a great fucking time. People are laughing, people are gasping at reveals and first character appearances, it's an amazing great time at any of these.
And somehow you want to make them all serious films? I don't get it. They aren't supposed to be wall to wall intense and serious. They aren't terminator films, or alien films. They're lighter fun adventure films.
I feel like you are missing the point, but then trying to blame it on the films, and I just hope you get over it and enjoy it while you still have time.

Indiana Jones for example has a light tone, but they don't go overboard with jokes 24/7

That sounds pretty fucking awesome. Watching an MCU movie at a dinner theater. I wish my multiplex sold dinner plates, but tickets are probably expensive.

People were snoring and walking out of Ant-Man. Except for the millions who weren't. Ant-Man stunk to high heaven. But it's not surprising that Marvel's clapping-seal crowd thought it was the funniest thing ever.

No, it means that even the shills don’t want to risk their credibility by praising the film. ‘Funny’ is a safe way of avoiding the truth that’s it’s ‘silly’.

Man I wish I lived near a theater that had a dinner thing. Hell I wish there was one that served alcohol! Imagine drinking while watching Suicide Squad, Transformers: The Last Knight or even Resident Evil Final chapter, it would help with the viewing.
