Nah, both of those characters have individual arcs in various X-Men movies and overarching stories that change over time, particularly Storm. And since you said that nobody's allowed to criticize anything or apply any rationality because everyone's opinion is as valid as anyone else's, there's only a matter of debating the existence of said arcs. Since they clearly exist, the debate is over since -- according to you -- we can't debate anything related to the quality of the execution of any movie ever, because that's all subjective and irrelevant as is discussing movies at all. You know, like you said. Interesting. The Straw Man is your favorite tactic. So apparently you just make up things...attribute them to other people....then attack the position you made up. That's not going to work here. We are "allowed' to talk about anything we want. You can keep pretending that Fox actually did something with Storm and Cyclops and I can mock you for that. Everyone wins! The Cyclops character was reduced to a supporting player for the Wolverine story and finally kicked to the curb completely in X3. But let's pretend that's a character arc of any substance. Sure it "exists".....yay? Storm was....umm....what was her story again? Does anyone know? Halle Berry looks good in the wig and said something about lightning hitting a toad. Yeah, rewatch the first three X-movies and get back to me when you know what you're talking about. |
