I have pretty much read every review and besides two that their only complaint is it's too violent, which is silly. The two reviews basically say the story is terrible. They also state that Daredevil was terrible so take that for what it's worth. Many of the positive reviews are beyond glowing with many saying it is the best Marvel Netflix show, which would be amazing since Daredevil and Jessica Jones are so good. Jessica Jones is a boring and crappy snoozefest. Jessica Jones is the worst superhero TV show ever made.

Did you read these on RT too? They have plenty other complaints than violence. - The Punisher is a drag, and while it's not the major disappointment Iron Fist was, it's a misfire for Marvel. - While Castle possesses special skills aplenty, the subplots prove tired, and for stretches the biggest danger seems to be that -- its taciturn leading man notwithstanding -- that the show is going to talk somebody to death. - It's impossible to overstate how leaden and badly structured The Punisher is. - There may hopefully be a time when Frank's actions don't instantly recall horrors from our world, but that version of his story will still need to be told much more compellingly than this. - Reading The Punisher didn't make me violent, but watching The Punisher sure made me bored. - The Punisher has moments of excitement, moments of bracing violence and a well-cast star at the center. It's also tedious for long stretches, and when it comes to plot details, astoundingly forgettable. The gun stuff is just an unpleasant capper. - As a narrative about veterans trying to find their place in the world, The Punisher has something to say. But it could have been so much shorter, and its placement in the Marvel universe feels tangential at best. Sounds like The Punisher is pretty bad.

He probably wouldn't post a thread like "The Punisher early reviews are very positive," now would he? Punisher is getting mostly positive buzz. DC-Fan just put a negative spin on it. I'm not putting any spin on it. I didn't write that article. If you don't like that article, take it up with the author of that article.

Jessica Jones is a boring and crappy snoozefest. Jessica Jones is the worst superhero TV show ever made. Misogyny! I disagree because no one could really believe this. Watch the new season of Arrow and tell me with a straight face it is better than Jessica Jones. It is seriously impossible.

it's at 67 right now like, the perfect 67, even the average score is 6.66/10. I was hoping for more, but that doesn't mean i might not really enjoy it.

But other than the MCU ones those are successful with their fanbase and are going on forever.

I don't watch these shows, but from what I have seen they are juvenile. Still or because of this, the Arrowverse fanbase is very protective, partially fanatical and thinks this part of the DC universe is the second coming - just like some MCU fans like arf arf or the raptor here do with the MCU. Every fanboy choses the franchise they deserve.

Anyways, Punisher having this reception is thanks to the recent political backlash against his sort of character due to what's been happening in the US lately.

The show is pretty good so far. It goes deep into the horrors of war and how it affects the military.

It is okay so far. I have only watched the first two episodes. Honestly not as great as I would have hoped so far, but definitely well directed and acted, which gives me hope for the rest of the season. Most of the reviews say that it has a slow start, so I hope that is the case.
