Then they need to handle the course correction better. Of course. And everybody wants JL to be fantastic and to have everything already ironed out. But it isn't and they aren't...so this movie shows some lumps. But even the most critical of reviews says that the best part of the film are the character moments, which is where the DCEU always failed and has always been the cornerstone for the success of the MCU. I'll take a lackluster movie with a lot of promise for the future over BvS any day. The problem is, all DC has done is promise the future, and they never deliver.
And I've actually heard the character arcs are completely hollow.

Don't let the door butthurt you on your way out.

Still think Flashpoint won't be a reset button for the universe? There are several movies in the DCEU that come out before Flashpoint, all of which would be meaningless if they then rebooted.
Rebooting would include the undoing of Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 2, Aquaman, Shazam!, Suicide Squad 2 and even The Batman, most or all of which will come out before Flashpoint (Flashpoint doesn't even have director whereas those other do and are already in some stage of pre-production).
Say all those movies do really well (none of them are directed by Zack Snyder, so there's every chance they could turn out well) would they want to reboot then? Plus, rebooting at this stage would be kinda like admitting defeat. Which they will not do.
No. Better to just move ahead without Snyder and just make good movies. It's still a feasible plan.
They can Days of Future Past it. I mean that movie made The Wolverine meaningless and that even had a scene for DoFP at the end. So they knew they were going to reboot the entire universe after that. Actually, Flashpoint wouldn't undo Wonder Woman (the main part)... Maybe Wonder Woman 2 depending where that takes place. But I think they'll use Flashpoint to change Bruce Wayne actors when Barry comes back to the "real" present. Make it that the Wayne's had Bruce later so he'd be younger now... But they still have to die and he still becomes Batman. Ah fate.

Wonder Woman delivered. And I have read a couple of reviews that didn't like the character arcs. But far more of them say the opposite.

Got better the second time for me because I noticed a few things that made up for flaws I thought it had initially. Liked it even more the third time.

Got better the second time for me because I noticed a few things that made up for flaws I thought it had initially. Liked it even more the third time. Well that's not really what many are saying, and doesn't fit with the idea that it really is just the slightly less interesting baby of First Avenger and Thor 1, and I would be happy to hear how you think it's better than either of those films, both of which I consider to be quite good. But regardless, rewatches couldn't possibly save the fact wonder woman herself doesn't actually accomplish anything. She has this idea that Ares must exist simply because war does and eventually gives up on finding him. That's the film.

Ok, that's cool. It's just not the general feedback. Also i'll still point out, WW doesn't do anything. She tries to find ares on a hunch and gives up. That was the film.

I think a problem WW has is that it is nowhere near as good as critics and relieved DC fanatics were saying it is. So people who waited a week or so before seeing it had their expectations way too high and ended up feeling disappointed.

I couldn't watch right away because I was in Europe but when I came back two weeks later and hearing that it was a masterpiece had me some very high expectations. I thought it was a watchable yet forgettable flick. I really enjoyed this last time I saw it though and will buy the blu ray on black friday. It has a a really good deal of $6 at Best Buy.

That was the amount of women seeing it who normally don't see these films. Yes that counts, and it's fair to count it, but it's not a reflection of the quality of the film vs the quality of other genre films. It's a reflection of it's social significance.

Where's DC-Fan been? He disappeared. Busy rehearsing his spin on how Justice League is somehow perfect.
