Last I checked fox track record, xmen movies still make a lot of money for non Disney kids appealing comic films and are very successful. Check again, they have to rely on gimmicks to stay aloft. No, people are surprised at how well it's done. Ike Perlmutter. Nope. The masses simply appreciate something unashamed and entertaining. Those other guys you say dislike the MCU have merely been misquoted. The MCU redefined CBMs, better than Singer or Nolan ever could. Logan was treated with kid's gloves because it was Jackman's Swan Song. They wanted to go easy on him. No, just that it's become synonymous with success so people don't expect their movies to be less than wonderful. No, they just went easy on Jackman as it was his last time. No, it's making us scratch our heads at how silly it is. Nope, Gifted isn't doing as well as AOS and now Runaways has defeated the Gifted as well. Gifted is merely a Heroes knock-off anyways. Going to suck. Barely equal any MCU movie. Desperately wanted a hit, due to Reynolds' sagging career. He's scared Deadpool won't be anything without blood and sex and swearing. Obsolete. |

You just keep pushing your own minority opinion as a factual opinion, call the masses dumb, already predict Infinity War will be bad, call all 17 MCU movies bad, put us down for saying otherwise and repeatedly claimed your right. I agree that the mods should lock this thread as you've been nothing but hostile and biased. I honestly don't care whether X Men stays at FOX or goes to MCU, I like both. Still I'm not a fan of Fant4stic writers directing Dark Phoenix and that they're shifting the focus onto teenage heroes. |

Just curious...
I'm kind of mixed here since I don't want Blue Sky Studios to close down and some say that this will happen if the deal is made... The talks have intensified and gained momentum according to the Wall Street Journal. Rumor has it a deal will be struck before 2018. Disney needs Fox for their streaming service and on a side note they make Marvel and Star Wars whole again. Its gonna happen. #teamcolden |

Fox doesnt have the content for their own streaiming service which is the future. Netflix being the big one of course and Disney starting their own service in the next couple of years. Fox cant compete and is selling their entertaiment division. Other studios like WB and Universal are interested but Disney is pursuing harder and want this more. They have more funds also and the extra incentive to make Star Wars and Marvel whole again. #teamcolden |
