Atomic Blonde 7/10 I really enjoyed it, but I'm also a die-hard lover of the 80s.

Infinity War A+ Likely my new fav MCU ahead of Age of Ultron now. Ultron still has more humanity going on, yet they really aced it with IW where they were surely up against the impossible.

Pirates of the Caribbean the Curse of the Black Pearl 10/10 I enjoy it more than ever.
But I still have yet to watch any of the other Pirate movies.

I rewatched the first Pirates recently-held up better than I expected.
I watched Pirates 4 a while later for the first time. Ehhh, it was mildly distracting.
Last movie I watched was The Dirty Game, a spy movie with Robert Ryan and Henry Fonda.
7/10

The Revenant 10/10. Third viewing and I still stand by that this film is a masterpiece. It might’ve just earned a stop on my top 10 of all time.

Alfonso Cuaron’s ‘Y Tu Mama Tambien’ 5/10. It’s pretty decent, there’s a lot to like but in the end it just feels like a teen summer sex comedy in which the main characters discover their bisexuality in the end (which came out of nowhere btw). Everytime the film felt like it was going to go somewhere deep, they feel the need to throw in a sex scene. The movie is shot by Emmanuel Lubezki, however, so it does look fucking incredible.

Iron Man B+ Excellent ground work & lots of fun, alas its primary climactic battle has always felt so quick.

Captain America: The First Avenger A- Solid storytelling, steampunk sci-fi, strong groundwork for the MCU.

Moonrise Kingdom. 5/10. Not my cup of tea. It was awful. I laughed only once during the entire movie.
