Toasted Cheese That's the problem with (many) liberals... they think the truth(i.e. right and wrong) is subjective and there is no moral objectivity etc even though there is as it's set by God. that mindset (i.e. that right and wrong is totally subjective) sets the path to how things are today with morals declining etc as once people start making up their own standards and removing God from things, society inevitably takes a hit in the long term. but at the end of the day... we all have free will and God won't force us to obey His standards of living. we must freely choose to love Him by obeying Him because if He forced us to obey Him then we would not have free will. But He does as He's God. it's unwise to ignore God and His way of living. to say that is to not know Jesus Christ, it's really that simple. you honestly think people are mentally ill if they are pro-life? ; sounds like it's the other way around if anything because, as I have said before, liberals put a persons "choice" higher than a persons right to life when it should be the other way around. their real choice came when they choose to have sex or not and, as you already know, if someone chooses to have sex a baby can be a potential consequence of that action. but instead of taking responsibility for their choice, some take the easy way out by killing their own child because they want to keep living promiscuous lives etc. I know at the end of the day that's pretty much how things will play out. I just hope/pray people don't go too far off the rails because if they do and don't repent (i.e. change their lives) they got a nasty surprise when they check out of this life. p.s. I am not judging you personally as only God can judge you. but I just got to state the truth about abortion when the issue comes up as it's a serious issue since it's a attack on human life at it's most innocent and, therefore, is a grave evil. trust me, the abortion industry is evil as look at people like Kermit Gosnell etc.

Toasted CheeseGod exists, that's the truth. there is some stuff that happens in the world that at least makes His existence plausible but people continue to deny anyways. but like I always say, things petty much boils down to this for some people... correction, the truth on abortion is what I preached here. also, I don't see how preaching the truth makes one a fool. only those who are quite backwards on basic life issues might see it that way. but once someone is blind to where they can't see that, it's not surprising they are backwards in many other moral areas to.

Toasted Cheese Well my opinion on the abortion issue is based on God's truth, your truth is based on mans flawed opinions which change as time passes where as God's truth is unchangeable. since God sets the standards for right and wrong, it's pretty easy to see what's the truth on the abortion issue in that it's gravely immoral. Good point ...which is why I say what I say when these issues come up. I defend the truth on the abortion issue. Because I speak the truth on abortion and you don't like it? I never insulted you personally.

Very well made and well acted, but It's kind of a hybrid between The Stepford Wives and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. The Oscar love seems a bit much. I do want to see more from Jordan Peele though, he's just getting started.

Peele "borrowed" from several horror movies and then added heaping spoonfuls of white guilt which is irresistible to caucasians living in blue states that NEVER actually interact with anyone swarthy. I still say it's a parody of the same silly white liberals that blindly worship it. Remember the scene where Chris's buddy goes to the cops? Notice they are all black and laugh their asses off at how goofy he is being? That's how we think of white libs that tell us how we should interpret everything. Once those hypocrites began to proclaim it a MASTERPIECE Peele ran with it and decided it wasn't a comedy so much as an examination of race. Can't blame the brother for cashing in can you? Who among us if we made a comedy that was inexplicably declared the most important movie of our generation wouldn't say "Yes that's exactly what I intended."?

No such thing as overrated if you can't prove it objectively. And that means more than just "I didn't like it."

Toasted Cheese Good point about it being mainly just popular here in the USA. but as far as whether black people were the biggest audience or not, if I had to take a guess... I would say probably not, at least nothing significantly towards that group. because from my best guess... Get Out probably has enough appeal outside of black people as it seems there are quite a few people who like watching Horror movies straight up and occasionally you stumble into some that do solid $$$ at the theaters. this just must have been a surprise hit, especially considering the really low budget probably suggested that they did not expect much from it. Every showing for this film had many white folks. Mostly white folks. Im from a mainly white town in Michigan and my theater was packed opening weekend. Not everything with a black face is only successful cause of black people. PS white people are the minority in the world, not black people.

I like how Peter Parker is portrayed in the MCU, and I love The Vulture, I think it was okay, not the best entry but nothing compared to the shitty Andrew Garfied ones. I actually think Get Out is the spiritual successor of Ghostbusters 16' and FANT4STIC I like the Andrew Garfield movies far more and I disagree that Get Out is a spiritual successor to the two movies you mentioned. I actually find Peter Parker in the MCU annoying and unlikeable and Vulture is a poorly written character. The whole movie is poorly written crap but that is just my opinion. The Andrew Garfield ones are actually fun and thrilling and I actually care about his character in those films. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is admittedly a mess but it is also extremely entertaining and wonderfully campy in a way that I highly enjoy. People have different reactions to movies and my reactions and opinions are just much different from yours in this case. I agree that Ghostbusters 2016 and FANT4STIC are crap though. I do think Spider-Man: Homecoming is a spiritual successor to Ghostbusters 2016 though. All the colors of the rainbow in nearly every scene and changing white characters to non-white characters and interracial relationships for the sake of political correctness. My main problem with the movie though is that it is only pretending to be a Spider-Man movie though, it is really an MCU movie and it never escapes that shadow. I could go on a longer rant but I will spare you. Are you kidding me with the interracial relationship comment? In the MCU universe every damn relationship has been two white people. Every one. The one time they give a teenage white kid in the 2000s a minority as a love interest its forced? Cause interracial couples don't exist? Cause a teen in 2017 isnt open to that? Most are a lot more open minded than your racist ass and thank GOD for that. PS they gave him Liz as a love interest because Mary Jane and Gwen were already done. I suppose you're mad they made her a bi-racial girl than yet another white girl but I am glad they changed that. Spider-Man is set in NYC and in the comic and cartoons you would get the impression Queens is all white people when its FAR form that.

I enjoyed the movie 'Get Out'. Felt more like a black comedy to me than a horror movie. I hear the director Jordan Peele's a professional stand-up comic.

I would say no. It's my third or fourth favorite movie of last year, which makes it BP elligible if I were doing the Oscars.

I gave it a 9/10, so unless the rating we're looking at is over that, I'd say "No, it's not overrated."
