Thanks for proving more bad writing in MCU movies, like how does an idiot like Hulk even know how to set an autopilot? He doesn't, but Bruce Banner does. Thanks for further proving more bad writing in MCU movies, like how if Hulk knows how to set an autopilot because Banner does, then Hulk should know everything else that Banner knows so Hulk shouldn't be such an idiot all the time. Moreover, that means Banner should ideed be tried and incarcerated for murdering those US soldiers that Hulk killed since Hulk has all of Banner's knowledge and memories and thus Hulk knows that it was wrong to slaughter those US soldiers because Banner knows that.

It didn't feel organic at all. Like in the comics, Tony and Cap switching roles so to speak is meant to be clever and thought provoking. "Golly gee. The government does bad stuff?" So you don't feel the installments I missed justified his character change? When he was immediately, like twenty minutes into the movie, just like, "We have to comply with this, no question," I was like, "Wait, what?! Tony, t he badass, the freethinker, the renegade, the genius?!" I'm still surprised, and meanwhile Cap is like, "fight the power." As Jerry Seinfeld famously said: WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? Unless some majorly fucked up shit goes down in, like, Winter Soldier. I does not. Tony Stark's character development is as bipolar as the broken rainbow bridge and the MCU timeline. But just wait: his motivation here is Shakespeare compared to his motivation in Act 3: "I don't care...he killed my mom!!!" Pure comedy gold.

Huh? What are you talking about? The Hulk doesn't know anything that Banner knows or vice versa either. They have entirely separate memories which is why Bruce Banner didn't know anything at all of what happened during the two years he was the Hulk. No, Bruce Banner set the autopilot. He crash landed on an alien planet, got stressed out and then he became and stayed the Hulk for a couple years. Hulk never set the autopilot nor would know how to.

Lol just another example of DC-Fan trying too hard to find something negative in ANYTHING MCU.

No, Hulk was already Hulk before he even got into the quinjet. So Hulk must have set the autopilot, not Banner. Also, why the hell would Banner set the autopilot to run away since Banner has never cared about the Hulk hurting innocent people, as proven by the fact that The Incredible Hulk, Banner recklessly went to the university during the daytime when there were plenty of civilians around even though Banner knew full well he could turn into the Hulk and endanger the lives of all those civilians at the university but Banner didn't give a shit that he was endangering all those civilian lives.

The Hulk was last seen in the Quinjet at the end of that movie and somehow ended up on another Planet. I can't remember the reason as to why. Just more bad writing in MCU movies. From the guy that gave us The Magic Boat theory

Actually Banner was always part of the Hulk and vice versa. I'm pretty sure Banner has alluded to in the past that he can remember and regrets the destruction The Hulk has caused. If you recall The Hulk left in the Quinjet because Banner had said he feared he was a danger to Black Widow...it was the Banner part of him that decided to leave, and the Banner part that set the Autopilot. Later in Ragnarok he is almost totally Hulk...the creature has become the dominant one, the Banner persona has almost totally lost....that is until he is triggered by the taped "talk down" from Black Widow...a Banner memory.

I put on an episode of Batman: The Animated Series on Amazon Prime while waiting for formersamhmd to pitch in his two cents. It's still paused on the Netflix app. Any episode of Batman: TAS is infinitely more entertaining, well written and thoughtful than any mcu movie. That's a given. Not really, the TAS show had its many clunkers.

It does, you just need to pay attention. No spoonfeeding, this isn't FoX or DC. He faked it, just like how they faked Thor having his hand cut off. Illusionist. When they brought his dead body back he revealed himself when Odin wasn't looking and put him under a spell and dumped him off on Earth with no memory he was a God and took his form. If Loki hadn't done this, Surtur wouldn't have felt safe enough to show himself and Odin wouldn't have ended up becoming so weak he couldn't hold Hela back anymore. The ENTIRE plot of Ragnarok relied on Loki's actions. Thor was upset, and Odin was close enough to death from being trapped in a non-God form he just didn't care anymore. They just had bigger things to deal with than personal grief. Luke Skywalker wasn't that sad over his Uncle and Aunt who raised him being killed by stormtroopers either. But Thor was still upset, he just had bigger problems and set aside his personal grief. Stop asking to be spoonfed, it won't happen.

mcu counts on viewers just Not needing to be spoonfed, and accepting that characters can grow and change. This isn't DC or FoX where nothing really changes.

He doesn't, but Bruce Banner does. Thanks for further proving more bad writing in MCU movies, like how if Hulk knows how to set an autopilot because Banner does He doesn't: Bruce changed back to Banner after he got on the plane and set the autopilot because he knew he was going to Hulk out again. He set it, Hulked out agaim and then the quinjet ended up flying into one of the Warp Gates around the Galaxy that led him to Sakaar. Hulk didn't do it himself, Bruce did it before he transformed.

Its poor writing to force internal conflict.

Its poor writing to force internal conflict. It was better than how BvS did it, and shows actual character development within the MCU. Something the FoX-Men should bother trying.

I honestly don't know how you can enjoy anything when you're so fixated in making out the MCU to be some completely faultless series that stands above every other movie that's ever been made.
I really like the movies too but you take it to such an extreme that it makes you hard to converse with.

It's a reaction to how folks here are intent on ripping the MCU down in every single way and how according to them it's one gigantic catastrophe. I'm more than willing to point out its flaws, but if you do that it just attracts the MCU haters like moths to a flame. I'm just giving them some well-earned payback by ripping into the DCEU, the Nolan movies and the FoX-Men. You want people who think their movies are utter perfection, talk to Nolanites and FoX-Men fans.

It's a reaction to how folks here are intent on ripping the MCU down in every single way and how according to them it's one gigantic catastrophe. It's a severe reaction, a lot of the time it's not even ripping on it but a mere comparison to make a point. It's not enough that these MCU movies are considered to be better than a lot of superhero movies. The ones that they aren't considered to be better than there needs to be some excuse for so as to bring all other movies down. Someone here could say the Lord of the Rings movies were better than the Iron Man movies and there'd be something wrong with that. There'd be some reason as to why the critics gave then such high praise, maybe it was because they were just impressed by the CGI at the time, maybe they just weren't used to accurate book adaptations or maybe they didn't want to disrespect Tolkien but otherwise they'd be really pretentious movies that would get average reviews if they came out now. Payback for who? Ever since this franchise began, fans of each series have been prodding the other. The DCEU and X-men get more criticism from MCU fans than anything. Now you have a whole ton of people who will crap on any Marvel movie just because it's not part of the MCU and they want it to be a part of the MCU. But people don't think they're perfect. Christian Bales Batman voice is famously mocked and has been for a decade. X-men 3, Wolverine Origins and Apocalypse have had a lot of criticism. Fans have always complained that there's a massive emphasis on Wolverine. They're all put down to some extent.

You want people who think their movies are utter perfection, talk to Nolanites and FoX-Men fans. oops, you totally forgot to bring up the old fable of how in MCU's early cradle-days Nolanites, DCEU-nites and FoxMens instead of bringing gold, frankincense and myrrh as a tribute they stroke MCU first like biblical Herod trying to kill baby Jesus.- and thus caused total fanboy war... I guess since the MCU-nutjobs rabidraptor and arfarfstanton got lost you got to do all the heavy lifting yourself and be judge, jury and executioner in one.

It's not enough that these MCU movies are considered to be better than a lot of superhero movies. The ones that they aren't considered to be better than there needs to be some excuse for so as to bring all other movies down. When the fans of those movies keep babbling about how utterly perfect those films are, they deserve some deflating. (Dark Knight, DOFP, Wonder Woman, Logan) No, I can accept that. Just not if they say LOTR is utter perfection. Not true, the Nolanites and FoX-Fans have been saying the entire MCU is one gigantic mistake right from day one and keep saying stuff like "BvS will destroy every MCU movie past present and future" and then whenever their chosen movie fails they move onto the next one like "Wonder Woman destroys every MCU movie past present and future" and then "Justice League will destroy the entire MCU". I've never seen any MCU fans saying things like "Thor Ragnarok will destroy the DCEU". They can accept that other film series exist and are fine with their continued existence. The MCU, however, cannot be allowed to exist according to DC and FoX fans. Yes, NOW. Now, after years of getting nothing but s*** from FoX fans. Oh yes they do. If they didn't, we wouldn't have had insane things like people wanting the Joker retired permanently after Ledger died. They didn't when DOFP came out, in fact that was another "This film destroys the entire MCU, past present and future!" films they cling to.
