This is Apocalypse. The dude has access to Alien tech in the comics and Singer teased at this in interviews. No hint of this in the movie. If Singer wanted to he would've shown us Apocalypse finding Ship and all that stuff. He did NOTHING.

It's okay to be embarassed about superhero books with their 2d world view.Because we just get a glimpse of Nazi Germany. You don't have to see him do his homework. So you've just admitted you have no respect for the medium and yet you expect anyone here to take anything you have to say seriously? Good luck with that. Comics? I love comics.

And yet the MCU, which fully embraces the source material is by far the most popular superhero property right now. Seems you're just wrong.

Wouldn't say fully. Jeph Loeb likes to keep those Netflix shows like Iron Fist grounded.
And the recent X-Men films have not been grounded with all the time travel and planetary level threats.

The Netflix shows are SUPPOSED to be more low key. They're street level heroes and villains as opposed to the grander films. So yes, he IS wrong.
Oh, please, if the X-Men films were interested in leaving the ground, we'd have a proper retelling of the Phoenix Saga.

I was strictly talking Iron Fist which is Kung Fu mysticism and you don't really see much of the mysticism part like depicting K'un Lun. But that's probably because the budget was really cheap. Well they haven't made that movie yet.

And they won't, because they're cowards.

ID4: Resurgence didn't do that well, so they'll be feeling less brave about doing an alien-based X-Men film, not that Singer would ever have had to the balls to do that, anyway.

There's nothing grounded about Mystical Ninja Cults that can resurrect the dead, alien weapons being reverse engineered by battlesuit-wearing gangsters and mind controlling Englishmen.
And yes, the X-Movies are still grounded otherwise we'd have the Shi'Ar and stuff by now.

Superman's a safe choice. It actually did a little better than Batman Begins. However, it's obvious he has no desire to bring in the Shi'Ar.

Nah, we'll just settle for the packed theaters Marvel will continue to have.

Nah, we'll just settle for the packed theaters Marvel will continue to have. You're -- you're gonna meet up with weirdraptor in a packed theater full of kids and families watching a Disney McMarvel movie and perform illegal public sex acts with him? I mean. You do you, but fair warning: you might get arrested.
