An Easy Death by Charlaine Harris and Dead Ringer M.C. Beaton. I read one in the morning and the other in the evening.
Any Hamish Macbeth fans here? Have you heard if there will be another book in the series? M.C. Beaton is in her 80's so I know both her series will be coming to an end.

A pretty quick read. The ending was too pat.

The Hollow Hills, the second book of Mary Stewart's Merlin/King Arthur series. I read all of those so many years ago. I remember them being good.

The Devil Rides Out by Dennis Wheatley I tried reading Wheatley, the themes and topics are fascinating, but I found Wheatley a deathly dull writer.

I just finished Dirty Work by Stuart Woods and immediately started The Outsider by Stephen King. It's King's latest novel. It seems to be about a murdered teen but I'm sure there's a horror twist coming soon.
Oddly enough before reading Dirty Work I read Dirt also by Stuart Woods. I had both of them in a stack of books I thought I had read but i hadn't read either of them. I think I read several Woods books in a row and was burnt out so relegated them to that pile. Anyone else get burnt out on an author and have to stay away from them for a long while?
