Margot Robbie is passable as Harley Quinn, but after watching Emma Stone knock it out of the park in Cruella, I think they missed a real opportunity to have a Heath Ledger quality super villain.

Objective: Destroy Jötunheim. Simple solution: Stealth bomber. A couple laser guided bombs. Dumb solution: Send in a bunch of unpredictable, unreliable, super criminals. The objective was to make sure the project info didn't leak. Once informed the drive was secured, Waller was going to blow the team's heads off for trying to stop Starro. I dunno, blowing up and/or incinerating a hard drive is a pretty good way to make sure no one reads it. It’s certainly a better plan than secretly entrusting the true goal to a solitary dude. Also, I think I might have dozed off during the part where it was explained why Waller was intent on letting a giant zombie creating machine go free to take over the world once she made sure the USA would remain blameless … ‘cause without a damn good explanation, that made no sense.

I think we need to retire The Rolling Stones and Harrison Ford before setting our sights on Paul Rudd.

Which is the better James Gunn movie? GOTG was a delight. Original. I left the theater smiling. TSS had many of the same ingredients, but somehow it fell flat. It was as if Gunn was simply checking off items on a list of things that had worked previously. I think I completely checked out when the Stay-Puff Marshmallow Man giant starfish throw-pillow started ransacking the city.

I'd love to see an R-rated Wonder Woman. Due to language, violence, or nudity?

As a trilogy, TDKR movie really dragged it all down. Similar trajectory to the Sam Rami Spider-Man movies. Very good first movie, great second movie ... should have stopped there. It took Marvel to offer up a satisfying series of movies, from beginning to end.

Now apologize for suggesting that Aquaman was a really good movie and Joker has any place in a discussion about Marvel vs DC superhero movies. I think that will cover it. NEVER!!!
Ok. That made me laugh. 😁

Wait. You thought I was talking about DC and Marvel movies that didn’t have any superheroes in them? The goalpost never moved, Ace. You were just viewing it through the wrong end of the binoculars. Imagine the angst among DC superhero fan if DC decided the future was to jettison their superheroes and just make edgy movies about psychotic individuals. Lex Luther with no Superman. The cast of Cats, with no Wonder Woman. Talk about selling your soul just so you can get a pat on the head by the Academy once a year. That would be the ultimate capitulation in the Marvel, DC rivalry.

Using terms like "The last, and possibly only, really good DC movie" doesn't make you seem biased at all. It also makes him seem "wrong" especially when JOKER just won two Oscars on eleven nominations. It’s also a testimony to the lack of exceptional DC superhero movies when DC fans have to glom on to Joker to pad their portfolio. A decidedly un-superhero movie in every way. ... and I see that lenlen wants to add Aquaman in the list of really good DC movies, I guess because it made Transformer money ... and Transformer money = quality. Uh, no.

As far as an endearing legacy is concerned, future generations are not going to be turning on Avengers: Endgame. They’ll be watching The Dark Knight. The cream always rises to the top. Period. Further testimony that it’s over for DC fans. The last, and possibly only, really good DC movie was over a decade ago. It must be tough to admit that.

... was totally over?
That there wasn’t even a glimmer of hope remaining for DC fans?
For me it was Justice League. After that, there was no hope of recovery. Even the tiny positive blip that was WW was squandered with the abysmal WW 1984. How did it go so wrong?

Brady as a first year starter has now taken two franchises that had losing records the previous season to the title. That’s a drop the mic statistic.

That’s what I thought after SB51 against the Falcons. Greatest SB comeback ever. Any argument that he might not be the GOAT was completely obliterated that day. He was nearly 40 years old. It was a perfect time to ride off into the sunset, on top of the world. I mean, he was nearly 40 years old! You can’t keep winning Super Bowls, pal. Not at that age. It’s not even remotely realistic. Don’t embarrass yourself like Montana, Farve, and P. Manning, by clinging on for too long.
Since then, four years have passed. Three more SBs, two more rings.
Even the most optimistic fanboy has to go - WTF?!!!
