The biggest complaint I remember was that he was blonde.ย I'll admit I wasn't crazy about it, but it didn't piss me off...but yeah, there were people who were ready to get the pitchforks and torches out and march on the Eon Productions offices. That's ridiculous. I guess they had never heard of hair dye or wigs They should cast a ginger next. Get Rupert Grint.

Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal: I barely know anything about their dad, who is a directorย Oh I had no idea they were nepotee's but yes I like both.
What about the Affleck, Mara and Fanning siblings? Were they ones also or did they all just enter the business at the same time as a duo and got lucky I wonder?
EDIT: The 2 older Culkin brothers too. I know Rory may have been though as he started maybe a decade later.
The Mara family owns the Pittsburgh Steelers so they almost certainly had big connections. I read the Affleck's father was a janitor. The Culkens are connected. Their aunt is actually Holly from Die Hard.

I suppose McLovin. It's easier than typing out the actor's full name for one thing.

You are confused in a multitude of ways right now. Possibly, dear. Would you care to enligthen me in the matter, please? -you seem to think I am the OP. I am not. Our usernames and profile pics are very different. -you seem to think I was replying to you. I wasn't. -"Her" is my own answer to the OP's question. It's a futuristic romance movie with Joaquin Phoenix. Has nothing to do with Cowboys and Aliens.

Beg you pardon ? Er... I thought that was what you asked about. The setting is aย regular western type one. Butย the story implies aliens, thought itโs more horror and fantasy than sc-fi. It happens that the main protagonists face classic drama outcomes, loosing loved ones, family, and itโs funny when it is not bad.ย Lame but relaxing, actually. Imho. You are confused in a multitude of ways right now.

Did Bruce Willis ever play Batman? If so, then that. Imagine if they ever did a Gunsmoke movie with Matt Dillon as Matt Dillon.

ย A lot of the movie's humor and memorable moments are due to Carrey's manic energy and performance.ย A lot? Don't you mean, like, 100%? I don't think any movie has ever relied so heavily on its star to carry it (no pun intended). "Hey Jim, there's literally nothing funny or interesting about this scene. Do you want to do your impressions of the entire cast of Star Trek for no reason?" "I guess!" What an insane year, though. This, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber. And to think those idiots at the Razzies nominated him for "Worst New Star".

I don't know what the talk was like when The Dark Knight was being casted, but I can imagine Heath Ledger as the Joker may have been questioned. Not as much as people hating on Daniel Craig announced to play James Bond. When Casino Royale was released, haters enjoyed a tall glass of shut the fuck up juice. I don't know, the gay cowboy Joker stuff was quite a shit show. I thought he was miscast myself, just because he seemed too quiet and serious in all of his other roles. Seeing that trailer for the first time is still one of the biggest "holy shit" movie moments of my life. I didn't follow the Bond stuff too closely, I just knew people had a problem with Craig.

The movie is meant to essentially be a parody of musical biopics, right? Yes. It's very much like Walk Hard.
