It has been brought to my attention just how much 'some' Atheists obsess over religion. I don't know how many times I've seen, read, or heard Atheists get really mad about people believing in God, Allah, Jehovah, or even reincarnation or spiritual philosophy. Why? If you don't believe it, why insist on making people who do feel inadequate? Why try and undermine someone who does? There are some Atheists who obsess over telling people religion isn't real and how fake their beliefs are. I don't believe in unicorns, do you know how many times I've thought of Unicorns in my life? Probably a handful of times, and it's usually someone who brings them up. If Randy Rando told me "I believe Unicorns exist in the South Pacific, they have magic rainbow powers that revive Bigfoot Yeti's in the Rocky Mnts if they truly believe in their magic." I wouldn't get mad at them. I don't care So why get mad if a Christian or Jewish person has beliefs that you think are fairytales? Is it perhaps that you do feel they may be right and have merit, but the anger comes from a place of self doubt? Pretty sure you're lying your ass off.

If it deviates from what is known to be normal it's perversion, that is homosexuality. Now your definition is far too broad. You being single at your age deviates from normal, which makes you a perversion. It makes asexual people a perversion. It is a normal variation on sexual attraction. You find it repulsive. Fine. Others don't. You see it as a perversion, others don't. You STILL don't have access to some underlying truth. You bolded "an aberrant sexual practice" as the main part of your definition. As has already been said, you don't get to define "accepted standard" for everyone, so your own post proves you incorrect. No it isn't too broad but nice try.
And I'm not single or asexual but keep fishing.

Perversion is a type of human behavior that deviates from that which is understood to be orthodox or normal. I'll just leave this here. Funny, could have sworn at some stage you have had issues with lifting things from wikipedia. Others see homosexuality as a normal variation in sexual attraction. So, I read the threads with great interest about gay men being more likely to have HIV, or the marriage thread suddenly becoming about gay men, or blade going on and on about homosexual men being evil and the act dirty... but are we all suddenly Victorian and refusing to acknowledge lesbianism ( please no bloke jokes about girl on girl action!) but nowhere on any of the threads do I see the same people who condemn homosexuality condemn or include women. In doing this, in my opinion, are you not being a little hypocritical. It's either inclusive or it isn't in your opinions. I would also, very much like to hear Redruth ( barones!) and her opinion on the HIV stats as she works in the field of science etc and her posts are certainly informative and worth listening to. ...and lights touch paper and stands well back! oh how cute my very own thread.
