And if Avatar never had a rerelease then Endgame would've beaten it outright 4 days ago. Do you think Endgame will pass Avatar? Probably pointless as Avatar 1 will probably get another rerelease to promote Avatar 2. If hypothetically they siphon money off of a Far From Home/Endgame double feature and put that total to Endgame I'd say that was dishonest. It's technically allowed, but still not kosher. I don't know exactly how we could prove that's what they did unless the grosses go up an obscene amount this coming week for Endgame.

Had Endgame rereleased say late Jan or mid Feb of next year then I bet they would have been able to overtake Avatar's total by taking advantage of the slow movie season.
And MCU Dictator Kevin Feige will probably do a 2nd re-release of Endgame in Jan or Feb of next year just to get the record from Avatar.

If they were both under Marvel Studios would be easy to do.

Typical DC-Fan liking posts that say Endgame won't surpass Avatar. He must really not want Endgame to take Avatars record. The thought of Endgame beating Avatar just hurts him.

Wow, do you have no life outside of hating the MCU and Kevin Feige? Like, what did the man do to you? Other than being known as the guy who is in charge of the biggest movie franchise of all time? The guy is beloved among the entertainment industry, the fans, and has been nominated for an Oscar. He hasn't done shit to you.

Alright it's been 9 weeks now, time to unpinned the thread.
Updates will be made until the film is either completely out of the theater or on Digital.

The weekend estimate was lowered to $5.9 million.
Still this Friday, it's 64th day was it's best Friday since it's 36th day. It'll be interesting to see where it's at worldwide after this weekend. I don't think other countries have had this release have they?
It's probably gonna be a bit over $2.76 billion. I don't see how it could make another $28 million but you never know. This re-release combined with Spider-Man could give it another boost.

Weekend estimate dropped a bit more to $5.5 million.
Worldwide $2.761 billion. So it's $27 million away.

But if Disney bought seats to boost Captain Marvel, why didnt they just sneak in $27 million in tickets this weekend?

Captain Marvel saw a boost of 5.7 percent the weekend Endgame was released. Lets say for the sake of argument it has a bigger increase of 8 percent. That would still put it at about 6 million this upcoming weekend. Plus the Monday through Thursday numbers. Can it make another 18 million worldwide then after this upcoming weekend?

I don't see how it would be the same. Captain Marvel would have benefited far more from Endgame releasing than Endgame would from Spider-Man. I don't think there would even be any increase at all.

Worldwide actuals just saw a $3.5 million jump. So now it's only a little over $23 million away.
For some reason it had a boost overseas as well and did better than two weekends ago. In particular in Australia it did +129% from last weekend....despite losing about two thirds of its theatres. How does that work?

Still not as epic and embarrassing as the flop known as Justice League over at WB.

I just love his article is posted from ScreenRant, those guys are fucking retards, they actually claim in one piece that Green Lantern made money because despite a $200m budget the movie earned almost $220m therefor it made $20m in profit....fucking morons, despite other publications saying GL would need atleast $500m to break even, so yeah DC-Fanbay keep posting screenrant pieces, they suit you.
