"Avengers: Endgame grossed an estimated $1.3M internationally this weekend. International total stands at $1.925B, global total stands at $2.773B."
No boost from Spider-Man or anything. Now only $15 million away. Probably close enough now that they'll just find a way to push it over somehow, give it the re-release somewhere else.

Well somehow after only making about $1.5 million overseas last week, it's now made over $4 million this week. So I don't know if the extended cut released in some other countries or what but it's now only $7.2 million away which is now that little that it is guaranteed that they will push it over.

Did anyone else see this thing in Reddit, some dude actually compiled the ticket data from across the globe comparing Avatar & Endgame, turns out Endgame thrashes Avatar ticket sales wise, 238m Avatar to 280m Endgame last I checked which was like a week ago iirc.
That's fucking crazy how many tickets this bitch has sold.

That's fucking crazy how many tickets this bitch has sold. 3D is pretty much dead now while what drove Avatar was Cameron's fancy new cutting edge 3D everyone & their brother wanted to see. So, yeah, Avatar's take was bloated by 3D surcharges.

Movie comes out on digital at the end of the month. Not sure how much more money it can make in theaters.

On Saturday, Disney and Marvel’s blockbuster crossed $2.7892 billion at the global box office, and will exceed the $500,000 in ticket sales needed to surpass “Avatar’s” $2.7897 billion benchmark.
Well that's that then. I wonder how long it'll be able to hold that position now. I can't see it being as long as the likes of Titanic or Avatar but then I don't know what else could do it anytime soon.
Unless Avatar 2 does.

Transformers made billions not much of an accomplishment. On top that kinda a cheap tactic to re release a movie for 5 extra mins something that can be on a dvd

Transformers made billions not much of an accomplishment. On top that kinda a cheap tactic to re release a movie for 5 extra mins something that can be on a dvd They didn't re-release it, "Endgame" was still in theaters and all that was added was a trailer and a brief scene. No matter what it was still going to be pulling in revenue from the cheapo venues the rest of the summer, as many in this genre do.

Transformers made billions not much of an accomplishment. Oh it definitely is. There's a tiny handful of movies since summer blockbusters even began that took the #1 position. Jaws Star Wars E.T Jurassic Park Titanic Avatar Avengers Endgame That's all, just 7 movies in the past 45 years. Even if it was nudged over, it's still the first movie to even sniff the figure that Avatar was at. There was only two movies not including Titanic that even just about crossed $2 billion.
