obvious answer is obvious blame trump Trump does have a record of supporting (if they're white) management, and not being too empathetic to the disabled.. Outback is probably on firm footing for this administration. The reporter was an asshole who backtracked on his OWN story he reported about Muslims celebrating on 9/11, the reporter was a douchebag who deserved to be mocked.

If it's a special needs case then he or she shouldn't be dining in public anyway. Why not as should we just lock them all up in their room? They can eat at home or better acquaint themselves with Ubereats, justeat or any of the other 1billion takeaway startups online.

Why can the loud kid not help being loud? If this is true, then his parents should not have brought this kid out in public. They have no right to inflict their troublesome child on others. And first, I would complain to the parents. If this was unsuccessful, I would then complain to the management. i'm with this. i would add, if the management can't get the parents to shut the kid up. tip the waiter, then leave part way through the meal. "We're learning from what happened and training our team so we can better serve our diverse guest population,", they can serve those who will leave and refuse to pay after being forced to put up with this sort of shit

I would probably just hurry up and finish, pay and then leave.
Honestly, it depends on how loud and disruptive the kid really is. If it isn’t preventing everyone in the vicinity from enjoying a quiet meal, then I’d say management should handle it before a customer starts to complain.

let's ignore the fact that the kid has special needs.
how are parents to train their kids to behave in public without taking the kids out into public?
i had to beat my kids the first few times they acted up in public to get them to understand how they are to behave, now i am told they are perfect angels...

If it's a special needs case then he or she shouldn't be dining in public anyway.and those with Cerebral Palsy who tend to drool and get messy should have to stay home too ? What about the post stroke adults who are painfull to watch trying to feed themselves or being helped by friend or family ? Stephen Hawking should have never eaten in a public place ? Your comment is among the most callous since it was said here that "people who live in wildfire zones deserve to have their houses burn down." !

you are serious, aren't you?
For me it depends on how loud and obnoxious their behavior is. If they are throwing food or jumping and climbing things I speak up. Kids running all over at the buffets, I say something. One time in Phoenix I remember where a kid who had to be about 5 had Tourette's Syndrome kept swearing and using racial slurs at people including the N-Word. His parents ignored him. Finally someone called the manager. Where does a 5 year learn these swear words and racial slurs? The parents should have been hanging their heads in embarrassment.

Not to make any names but I bet that poster said that in both times of war and in times of peace.

oh man. i'll retell this story:
at my little girl's VA state sponsored pre-k ABBEY1227, they have a reverse inclusion class where they have half well behaved kids and half troubled kids. the idea was for the behaved kids to be an example for the less behaved kids.
this one kid had something akin to tourette's and kept yelling out:
"shut your mouth, bitch!"
over and over (all year long), especially when a teacher (there were 3 in the class) was talking to him.
my wife and i were like, "the hell if he learned that on his own".

Parents were irresponsible and inconsiderate for not taking the child outside to calm down, He did not need CALMING DOWN … the OP clearly explained why he cannot help speaking loudly or indistinctly. He was not being a mis-behaving child.

I just showed you the evidence and here is some more: EXCLUSIVE: Some Jersey City Muslims did celebrate 9/11, cop and residents say.If you were alive at the time you would have seen and heard about this, so don't fucking lie about it now trying to be politically correct.

Don't play dumb. I was all the way out here in California and heard about Muslims celebrating on 9/11 in New York at the time. So you have no link of the reporter retracting his story? Just like I thought. We both knew you didn't, and we both know Trump lied about seeing Muslims celebrating on 911. Even the right doesn't try claiming this anymore. Fact-checking Trump's claim that thousands in New Jersey cheered when World Trade Center tumbledBy Lauren Carroll on Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 at 6:17 p.m. And you say the NY Times reported it? Okay, please post that link. So I can catch you IN ANOTHER LIE, because we both know no such link is forthcoming from you.

185 views and only 5 voters? . even I know that the "views" are (at best) wonky ! You can look at something you just posted and it has double digit "views".
BTW .. I would go for an anonymous "pay for their meal". Perhaps a quiet kind word to the parents to let them know that they aren't annoying everyone ! .
