Braun's 4-year-old son, Killian, has a neurological disorder that affects his speech. The speech muscles of those with childhood apraxia of speech don't work normally ... because the brain struggles to coordinate their movements. Their pronunciation may seem distorted.
He was NOT being obnoxious or mis-behaving. He simply cannot talk "quietly" or "clearly" .
He is not necessarily "mentally deficient" ! He may not have a "learning disability". He just can't talk "right" so he and his family should not eat in a public establishment .. ever ?

This is a special needs case so I guess Id have to endure it, but with a normal out of control kid I guess I would complain. If it's a special needs case then he or she shouldn't be dining in public anyway. In that case Trump is in trouble big time.

i look at it differently from some others i guess.
some say a physical handicap or mental disorder to be inappropriate or obnoxious is no excuse for being loud in public.
i say it is.
the kid can't help it. the parents can't help it.
as long as the kid isn't breaking things or stepping on my prime rib, i would let them be.

1. Oh fucking yes. 2. Did you not read the part where I stated, "I always ensured he displayed behaviour appropriate to his surroundings when we were in public"? 3. I did this by making sure he understood what was acceptable behaviour and what was expected of him before we went into public. I reinforced this with reminders as required during our time in public. I made certain that both he and I were prepared ahead of time. 4. A learning disability is not an automatic guarantee of inappropriate behaviour. However, if this is what occurs, other people and members of the public should not be made to suffer because of it. At the first sign of a public disturbance, the source of that disturbance should be removed to a more appropriate location. That's exactly what I did the first and only time my child caused a public disturbance in my presence. It was very early on and led me to altering my parenting practices to accommodate further such potential circumstances in the future. 5. I don't give a fuck what you do or do not agree with.
maybe i ought to buy you a dessert lest you blow a gasket.
Actually, it's just Mister Honest. I see no point in dancing around the subject. And although that cake looks very appetizing, I'm diabetic, which means... I'm still going to fucking eat it. Thank you.

If you wish me to go into greater detail, I can, but in brief, I think every case should be judged upon it's own specific merits. Sometimes there might be a problem and sometime there might not be. In an earlier post, I also said, "At the first sign of a public disturbance, the source of that disturbance should be removed to a more appropriate location." So it's entirely possible that there might be no disturbance and no action needs to be taken in response. However, to play Devil's Advocate, however unfortunate or unfair one person's personal situation, should other innocent members of the public - who are in no way responsible for any of it - be made to suffer for it?

Considering your penchant for playing spelling police among other troll tricks regarding my posts, you can see why I was and still am skeptical.

other posters have said much worse things than you ever have to and about me, i still let them be AND give them kudos when kudos are due.
anyway, it was a sincere compliment to your comment.
i lol'ed when i saw it.

If it’s a special needs kid - I would endure it.
If it’s clearly a misbehaving Child, I would most likely give the family dirty looks and endure it.
I don’t agree that families with special needs kids should stay home.
