Don't play dumb. I was all the way out here in California and heard about Muslims celebrating on 9/11 in New York at the time. So you have no link of the reporter retracting his story? Just like I thought. We both knew you didn't, and we both know Trump lied about seeing Muslims celebrating on 911. Even the right doesn't try claiming this anymore. Fact-checking Trump's claim that thousands in New Jersey cheered when World Trade Center tumbledBy Lauren Carroll on Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 at 6:17 p.m. And you say the NY Times reported it? Okay, please post that link. So I can catch you IN ANOTHER LIE, because we both know no such link is forthcoming from you. 9/11 occurred. Muslims celebrated. Trump pointed it out, citing the reporter. The reporter lied and denied his own story. Trump mocked him because Trump was right and the reporter was a liar. End of Story.

So you still can't come up with a link? The conclusion is obvious. You lied you're ass off.

Why can the loud kid not help being loud? If this is true, then his parents should not have brought this kid out in public. They have no right to inflict their troublesome child on others. And first, I would complain to the parents. If this was unsuccessful, I would then complain to the management. oh god man, are you serious?
you are serious, aren't you?
Why the fuck wouldn't I be serious? I'm a parent and when my child was a minor, I always ensured he displayed behaviour appropriate to his surroundings when we were in public. If you're incapable of this basic and simple act of parenting, then do the world a favour and don't have any fucking kids.

It depends on how loud or obnoxious the child was being. If the kid was behaving really badly and the parents were making no effort to correct it, I'd probably ask to move to another section.
I'm generally pretty tolerant though. Other kids whining or crying aren't as annoying to me as my own kids whining or crying. And when my kid were babies and started crying in a restaurant, one of us would take them outside until they calmed down. It's part of parenting.

For me it depends on how loud and obnoxious their behavior is. If they ate throwing food or jumping and vlimbimg things I speak up. Kids running all over at the buffets, I say something. One time in Phoenix I remember where a kid who had to be about 5 had Tourette's Syndrome kept swearing and using racial slurs at people including the N-Word. His parents ignored him. Finally someone called the manager. Where does a 5 year learn these swear words and racial slurs? The parents should have been hanging their heads in embarrassment. That's a rational and reasonable approach. My post was predicated upon the fact that the child's behaviour had exceeded all accepted and normal expectations of acceptability.

oh please, there is no evidence of that. And certainly no evidence of thousands and thousands celebrating in the streets of Jersey City like Trump claimed. I just showed you the evidence and here is some more: EXCLUSIVE: Some Jersey City Muslims did celebrate 9/11, cop and residents say.If you were alive at the time you would have seen and heard about this, so don't fucking lie about it now trying to be politically correct. That article says it was a group of 15 to 20 people, which is hardly thousands as Trump claimed.

kids do not just learn to behave in public, they have to be made to understand why and how.
and to do that it has to be done in a public setting.
however a mentally deficient child just cannot grasp those lessons and ought not be punished for it.
i cannot disagree with you more and i too am a parent.

Normally I'd stay and endure. If for some reason I couldn't, I'd pay up and leave. Kids are always noisy under the best of circumstances; it's just selfishly nasty to go to a place where there are kids and then work to have them ejected.

thekindercarebear said and emphasized in the OP: Braun's 4-year-old son, Killian, has a neurological disorder that affects his speech. The speech muscles of those with childhood apraxia of speech don't work normally ... because the brain struggles to coordinate their movements. Their pronunciation may seem distorted.
He was NOT being obnoxious or mis-behaving. He simply cannot talk "quietly" or "clearly" . He is not necessarily "mentally deficient" ! He just can't talk "right". This somewhat important point has been almost universally missed in this thread !

i'd say a fair line is if the kid is IF jumping up and down on the booth or table, throwing things, or trying to grab my fries off my plate.
but the kid is just speaking loudly, in gobble-gook. but that to me isn't worth blowing my top at anyone or as you say getting them ejected.

1. Oh fucking yes. 2. Did you not read the part where I stated, "I always ensured he displayed behaviour appropriate to his surroundings when we were in public"? 3. I did this by making sure he understood what was acceptable behaviour and what was expected of him before we went into public. I reinforced this with reminders as required during our time in public. I made certain that both he and I were prepared ahead of time. 4. A learning disability is not an automatic guarantee of inappropriate behaviour. However, if this is what occurs, other people and members of the public should not be made to suffer because of it. At the first sign of a public disturbance, the source of that disturbance should be removed to a more appropriate location. That's exactly what I did the first and only time my child caused a public disturbance in my presence. It was very early on and led me to altering my parenting practices to accommodate further such potential circumstances in the future. 5. I don't give a fuck what you do or do not agree with.
