You mean get rid of dance offs and forced and cringy humor. Sign me up You and Scorsese may be on to something. Remember how endgame looked like a video game during the last battle. Scorsese is correct to compare it to themes parks. something about marvel movies always gives a fake atmosphere vibe, like theme packs its more about the thrill than the brains. The thrill though is of an immature audience and stupid millennial critics who don't know good cinema. Its good Scorsese is fact checking them.
Why do people think that posting a YouTube video of someone who shares your opinion makes that opinion more valid? Gotta say though..a video with no likes and one dislike, was a fine choice.

Why do people think that posting a YouTube video of someone who shares your opinion makes that opinion more valid? Gotta say though..a video with no likes and one dislike, was a fine choice. I believe it is due to having a stunted intellect, same reason they cannot formulate their own articulate points of view and have to regurgitate that of others who they assume share the same opinion as themselves, this is also evident in their behaviour such as not actually knowing the true merit of the arguments they speak, inability to evolve their argument when it is challenged, simply not knowing what certain words mean.
Due to this they simply latch onto others thinking if they amass a large enough group of like minded thinkers it will make their beliefs a reality, though this hasn't helped the flat earthers much, but you know ignore the fact that the MCU just broke like all the records over the last 18 months or so, that it has not only overwhelming critical but also awards acclaim, continues to grow their audience year by year, no the 15 youtubers who hate the MCU that's proof they suck.

Nah, I think Deadpool would still have been good if it was originally made PG13. His character comes through in the violence though. Like cutting his hand off to showing a middle finger. Killing a bunch of people and using their bodies to see Francis with a decapitated head for the "i". Shooting three guys through the head with one bullet. Stabbing a guy and then making the joke about how the women just thought they were going to see a valentines movies.

Nah, I think Deadpool would still have been good if it was originally made PG13. Saying that the violence made the movie means that they didn't have anything to go on. Deadpool himself is what made those movies good. John Wick is more about the action scenes than the character. More than Deadpool or Blade.
Blade should be r rated.
No reason why it has to be R-Rating does not equal a better film It doesn't need excuses If you are someone that thinks more graphic violence, swearing etc makes film better you are expressing an opinion of someone who is mature enough to ONLY see PG-13 films No he isn't, he is expressing an opinion So what. Tarantino likes MCU films, and loves Ragnarok and Avengers. How many of his films are R-rated?[/div]

Got your soundbite and sticking to it eh. How about instead posting a video of a theme park ride that resembles that scene

Stabbing a guy and then making the joke about how the women just thought they were going to see a valentines movies. A lot of that can still be done in PG-13 just not with the blood, you know like in the X-Men films they could have Logan going berserker so long as they didn't show the bloody wounds he was creating, or how they could show his skin being blown off and his bone and muscle heal so long as they didn't show him pissing with blood at the same time, Logan gave us the best Wolverine rage outs no doubt but the other films proved you can do that ultra violent character well enough to the point people still love the character even without the blood and guts.
With DP it would mean you only show the hand not the part where he cut it off, also no blood spurt money shot jokes, the headshots would be fine just no spatter or peep through the bullet hole, the bodies owud have been fine to spell out so long as they weren't oozing blood and just decapitated head, but even then that stuff didn't make the character it was just ways to make the character shine a little more.

Much like Spielberg he’s from a different era of cinema. Honestly, I’d be more surprised if he was a fan of the MCU than if he wasn’t. I don’t think I’ve met any one from his generation who was a fan. Most likely those who make MCU movies will be saying the same thing about films being made 40 years from now.

A lot of that can still be done in PG-13 just not with the blood But then it's just not the same, it'd just be a toned version of what we already had before so would just piss people off and would endlessly be compared. Deadpool was funny largely because of the violence and the language. It was successful because of it, made it stand out from all the rest. There's jokes and action that you just can't do in a PG-13. The PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2 was criticized for that very reason.

Actually most responses here are in reaction to your foolishness, and a bit of nexus' as well. Neither of you, as well as DC-Fan, know how to properly debate. So Scorsese said MCU is utter crap. Ouch.
You've proven my point, congrats.

The PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2 was criticized for that very reason. Because it's a different situation, yes if you now retroactively go back and edited that stuff out of DP1 people would be pissed off, but then that's the case anytime you monkey with something people like let alone love, look at the bitch fits the SW fandom make over any alteration to the original films, some I get like Han not shooting first because it actually changes the character some, but some of the stuff added works, but they just bitch about any alteratons, to the point some even say you shouldn't change the prequels even though they fully admit the prequels are pieces of shit.
Deadpool could have worked as PG-13 and done most of the stuff they did without the gore and more explicit sexual content and jokes, if they had done it that way to start, it wont work now because they have set the standard that this is what Deadpool is, you can go further but not pull back from that standard, as we saw with Wolverine in the X-Men movies, but a new movie franchise for Blade is not beholden to the past iterations, look at Batman in the Nolan films there is none of that Burton or Schumacher gothic aesthetic or neon and nipples, but they worked because they didn't sell the films as continuations of that Batman run it was a new more grounded take on the character.
Like do you think a new X-Men series will need to restrain from the costumes and more comicbook elements of the IP just because Fox did that? no they can establish it how they want and make is as colourful and cosmic crazy as they please, this isn't like Blade is some super IP that everyone knows this is what Blade is and must always be or else, it did well and as a result Blade does have a decent fanbase but still most people have no clue about the character, and those films are such products of their time also, if you try to emulate that in 2022 or later it's going to be like wtf is this? unless the quality is also behind it that it can stand out ala John Wick, because John Wick didn't stand out because it was violent, that's a fad going on since Taken of here lets give older stars these violent action movies, most don't do shit though, Wick did because it had talent behind it, and if Blade has talent behind it then it wont matter if it's PG-13 or not because talent can work around the limitations of a rating or they know where to draw the line in that yeah we can go here but we wont because we don't need to.
The rating imo doesn't matter write the story the best possible way and if ends up needing to be R rated then fine, if it can be PG-13 then fine, I still don't think Blade needs to be part of the MCU though, and would do better in a separate continuity but that's just me.

Thanos losing his Head wasn't violent it was a quick shot. Hawkeye cutting that guy not super violent at all

The blood bath shower in the club? You saying that's what tipped it over into being R? Well scenes like that won't get put in a PG13 movie these days.

The Boys and Watchmen are r and ma rated Or to keep their brand appropriate for all ages, because that's what the MCU, appropriate for all ages, also Van Helsing is fucking shitty, I tried watching that show it's just garbage uninspired run of the mill drek, so obviously you must like it.
Blade the series was intended to be a continuation of the movie series so it had to retain that level, but is either Blade the series or Van Helsing as enetertaining as say Buffy or Angel? no, was True Blood just as good later on when they still used lots of blood, dismemberments and cock rippings off as it was earlier on? no.
Jaws is a PG film over here, it scared me more and is far more mature than any of the Friday The 13th films and they are all 18's over here I believe, just because other shows are going to be rated R doesn't mean anything, TV you can push that shit more because anyone can still watch those shows regardless of age or ratings, in films an R rating effectively cuts out large chunks of the general audience, hence why no rated R movie has come within $200m of breaking $1B.
And you say toys like it doesn't matter, that is what matters, do you think SW became a billion dollar property through the movies? no it became that through merchandising, toys, lunch boxes, games, CD#s, coluring book's, the EU novels, T-Shirts and costumes, the films are a small portion of Lucasfilm and SW's success, Wonder Woman sold lik $1B in merchandise the year after the movie came out, the movie that didn't cross $850m btw, Batman 89 made WB twice or even 3 times maybe as much money in merchandise than it did at the box office, these are business's making money is the point, you know why Fox was willing to take more risks with their movie ratings? they didn't own the merchandising so all they had was the box office, so to them who cares if a rated R film cuts merch profitability in half so long as those box office dollars roll in.
You are actually the problem because you are the sort of simpleton who judges crap on stuff like the age certifications, bet you are the sort that thought wrestling was better when it was PG-13 and not PG right? even though Smackdown was always just PG and yet people didn't notice the difference in quality between the PG-13 Raw's and the PG Smackdown, you are a superficial lame brain who thinks liking something that is just for adults is mature, no like I said to you once before the American Pie films are not for kids, but they are the furthest thing from being mature, and if you aren't smart enough to get that then I pity your simple little head.

Well on the first half of this I agree. If Deadpool had started off as a PG-13, it definitely wouldn't have been nearly as successful but they probably could have made still made it work somehow. They can up the rating of a movie to an R and that will work for it but they can never go back down after that, except for James Bond. But the Batman comparison is different because those movies didn't sell on the neon and the nipples, people didn't like that from the start. Movies like Deadpool and Blade sold themselves on the violence and the dark/filthy humour. That is something they could never get rid of now because it was a big part of why people like the movies so much in the first place. No but again that's more akin to the Batman comparison. The costumes were never something that were well liked from the start. People have always wanted to see the comic accurate costumes, it was even teased in The Wolverine and people were disappointed it was cut. So they can change things like that because it would be seen as for the better. They start stripping out the things that people did like though and that's where the problems start. They could make a PG-13 Blade and it could be good but it would not be as good as it could be if it's R. If anything it being marketed as the first R rated MCU movie would probably be beneficial for it.

You think Think a pg13/Pg cut of a movie will show Kingpin killing somebody with a car or beating somebody to death with a hammer. Or Billy Russo Getting his face smashed with Glass? Cottonmouth beating to death a teen or Mariah committing genocide exactly the same in the show?

MCU being the MCU isn't a good enough reason. There are books for everybody and books for adults the movies should do that. If they don't r rated properties to mix with their kid movies kid movies they can do what DC is doing with the Joker movie and make it a seperate Canon which is smart cause its broken records. Van Helsing isn't a bad show thats the gore we should get for blade. I love Buffy and Angel but the violence there wasn't that intense in Season 4 of Buffy the character Adam kills a kid but its only mentioned not shown. In Season 2 spike kills a child vampire again not violent. You brought up Friday the 13th which are r rated movies? Jaws wouldn't be pg today. I don't know why you bring up Raw and Smackdown both have been called the PG era these days for awhile they banned certain chokeholds and face attacks. As for toys you don't have to water anything thats a choice. Was the boys marketed for kids to sell toys no? Was watchmen watered down to sell toy? Were Daredevil and Punisher shows watered down for toys? No
