WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow and very strong winds expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph. The strongest winds will be Saturday into Sunday. Blizzard conditions will be possible at times, especially Saturday night and Sunday. WHERE...Erie, Genesee, and Wyoming counties. WHEN...From 10 AM Saturday to 7 AM EST Monday. IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. The more persistent lake effect bands are usually to the south of Orchard Park. Our forecast is 3-9 inches, done by Sunday morning. The wind is worrisome. It will not be beneficial to Josh Allen. He didn't do well in the windstorm against New England last year or the playoffs against Cincy.
Is it beneficial to any QB? Tua doesnβt even plan to wear gloves in KC - he thinks being cold or warm is a βmindset.β Heβs in for a rude awakening.

The wind alert for OP ends Sunday morning at 1 am. But this forecast could change 300 times

L It generally is better for quarterbacks who have experience with it and have learned how to deal with it.. or when not to. Also, it helps if you have a good running game.

The more things change... I'm already seeing JimmyG &/or Jacoby Brissett chatter for the Patriots 2024 QB room. I think either is fine, it would be fascinating to see JimmyG on a team with zero contending ambitions.

I bet Jerrah didn't think a team would lift the World Cup in this stadium before the Cowboys raised a championship banner.

Antonio Pearce named Head Coach of the Raiders going forward. I think the last interim head coach that kept the job was Freddie Kitchens with Cleveland. Its rare and I don't recall them ever going well.

Kitchens apparently was the OC but got the credit for the turn around.

Titans hired Brian Callahan (son of Bill - who used Jon Gruden's playbook in a Super Bowl against Jon Gruden) as their new HC. Former Bengals OC. Mediocre and unexciting hire for a mediocre and unexciting organization.

Mediocre and unexciting hire for a mediocre and unexciting organization. Just makes the decision to fire Vrabel even more puzzling. They were never gonna get any of the top candidates. I've never heard of this guy til last night.

Bears hired former Seahawks OC Shane Waldron as their OC. Good hire by Chicago. He did a very good job the last two years with Geno Smith. I dont think this hire hints one way or the other in terms of sticking with Fields or drafting Williams. Unless the Seahawks get a Ben Johnson at HC I think that offense will take a big step back next season.

Not sure if this is true or not (tell me if your team would break this) but I read where no offensive coordinator in the league has been with their team in that position earlier than the 2022 offseason.

Not being a fan of the college game (understatement of the year), Harbaugh may as well have been on hiatus for the last 10 years as far as I'm concerned. Spending time on Mars collecting rock samples for all I know or care. Him and Payton in the same division will be spicy.
