Now that the final trailer is out, what are your predictions for the movie in terms of critical reviews and box office numbers?
For me, I’m cautiously optimistic about the movie, but I’m not going to predict anything grand for it.
My predictions are:
$345 million domestically
$890 million worldwide
52% on Rotten Tomatoes

Maybe I'm giving them too much credit, but I can honestly see this breaking 400 million domestically. Wonder Woman will no doubt help with that. Same with the worldwide gross. I think this will be their first film to hit a billion. They're no doubt going to make money. In terms of reviews though, it'll certainly be better than BvS because it's actually a fun movie and the colors are bright, so it's not dour and depressing. That said though, I feel it'll fall between 30% and 60%. I'll be amazed if it gets over 60%, let alone 50 really.

1) $350 million domestically
2) $890 million worldwide
3) 55% to 70% on Rotten Tomatoes
Face it, the Avengers got there first. I can see the biggest complaint being that it's Avengers-lite.

No, Avengers hasn't gotten anywhere first. Avengers is just another superhero team-up movie, no different than X-Men and Fantastic Four. Justice League will be historic and unprecedented because it'll be the 1st team-up of A+ and A-list superheroes. That's never been done before in CBM history and is historic and unprecedented.

I have this feeling JL is going to be on the same lines as BvS but we will see...

The latter two were already intended as a team though and have a unifying similarity; the XMEN are mutants and FF are scientists. The Avengers was the first movie to feature characters from different subgenres of superhero fare (fantasy, war, science fiction, espionage) join together and then successfully translate it to film. It's not a bad thing in of itself but nevertheless I can see critics using it to call it derivative.

They are definitely A list heroes now, unless you refuse to count Black Widow, which makes you a misogynist.

2. No, they never were A-list and still aren't A-list superheroes. Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor, Scarlett Witch, Vision, Falcon, they're all C- and D- list superheroes.

With that pedigree, if it can't beat out The Avengers, it will be a historic and unprecedented humiliation.
DC-Fan has set the bar ....
92% on RT and $1.5 billion box office. Anything less will be an embarrassing disgrace.
If those precious DC "A listers" fail to even beat Thor Ragnarok ... well ... eek! Let the fun begin!

X-MEN aren't A-listers? I want whatever drugs that you are on. Wolverine is probably A- and Storm and Mystique may be B, but the rest aren't that well known among general movie watchers. Cyclops was 1 of my favorite X-Men in the comics, but in the movies, he's practically non-existent. Angel, Beast, Colossus, Iceman, Rogue, Shadowcat, Bishop, Havok - none of them are A-listers.

Yeah, I'd say Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor are A-listers at this point, especially since they're outgrossing more popular Marvel characters like Spider-Man and X-Men. Hulk is a household name, and many women are Black Widow fans.

If there were any Black Widow fans, then MCU would've made a Black Widow movie already. So the reason that MCU hasn't made a Black Widow movie after 9 years and 17 movies is because either MCU hates putting female lead characters in their movies or there aren't any Black Widow fans.
