How would you react if you found out that everything you believed was wrong ?

I'd be fine with it.
It has allowed me to live a pretty calm and peaceful life under some pretty good guidelines.

I am pretty much in cools camp, if I find out information that is contrary to what I believe, I verify the information and adjust my beliefs.
It's not rocket science.

Do you mean things, like....
Aliens were our creators, most of everything written in the Bible did happen, most conspiracy theories were real, & Ghosts, Bigfoot and the Lochness Monster were real?...
Or our reality was just part of The Matrix?...
Well... We would still have our families, pets, favorite foods, jobs, taxes... & music, movies, TV Shows, & Websites like IMDB 2.0...Right?
I guess not much would change in our daily lives, so...
I would just re-evaluate what all that means to the world, and what that means for the future, and move on accordingly.

How would you react if you found out that everything you believed was wrong ? To discuss this reasonably, wouldn't we have to more or less agree on what "everything" entails. You mean absolutely everything from my belief about my immediate surroundings, my personal identity and even that I exist at all? You mean stuff like that? The long and short is that if I don't exist at all, or I am so deluded that EVERYTHING that I believe about me and my immediate surrounds is wrong then I'm not going to worry about being wrong because....it's not me after all.

Here's some information for you, from a book you supposedly follow. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6The other day you claimed Jesus is just one path to salvation. Are you ready to be true to your claim and adjust your belief in light of this information?

How would you react if you found out that everything you believed was wrong ? I'd change everything I believe to align with the truth, of course. Wouldn't anybody?

How would you react if you found out that everything you believed was wrong ? What if what I believe is that everything I believe could be wrong?

Initially I would be in a state of shock, but I think in a fairy short time I could adjust to the new reality. Maybe accepting that Trump is in fact the greatest president ever would take more time.

Well, I used to semi-believe in the supernatural. It was very disappointing to come to the realisation that what I wanted to believe in could not be true, but eventually I adjusted rather than scrambling to hold on to those absurd notions.
I suppose that my reaction would depend on what the implications would be of the truth. But I'm not wed to my beliefs out of any sentimental reasons, or out of fear.

I absolutely would if it could be proven those are Jesus' words. If you can't trust what the bible says then why exactly are you a Christian? I don't blindly trust what the bible says. There is a key word there, see if you can figure out what it is.
