I wouldn't mind the alternate ending being found. I think Savini said it was filmed but my guess it was talked about but in the end was not. If it was it's lost as I think we would have seen it by now if it were. You never know.

It's not just football. Holy smokes. I thought statues and such were supposed to somewhat flatter a persons appearance.

The only consolation I can give is that I nor most Evertonians didn't expect to pick up anything today. 1 nil or 9 nil still the same in regards to points. Still humiliating. Glad I live in Canada where not many care too much about EPL results. My prediction was 4-1 with Everton scoring first.

I don't follow the NFL except for the Super Bowl. I like to join in the party. Translation drink lots of beer. But I like the story there of Vince Papale. Feel good thing. I know the film took dramatic license to create an exaggeration of what happened. Some truth there. I just liked the whole idea of the Vince Papale sitting in the stands then playing for his team even if it is somewhat over dramatized. Anyhoo that's my excuse. underrated movie. wahlberg is a great actor - doesn't get enough respect IMO. and what ever happened to Greg Kinnear who played Dick Vermeil? seems like he was the 'it' guy for a while in Hollywood after 'Talk Soup' (he was hysterical in that role) - you don't hear much about him anymore.... I wouldn't say Wahlberg is a great actor. He is what he is. In the roles he has he does very well. He has a screen presence. He can be likeable as in 'Invincible' or 'Boogie Nights'. Can play an unlikeable guy like in 'Fear' or 'Basketball Diaries'. I can honestly say without shame that if Mark Wahlberg is in a movie I will check it out.

I certainly hope they can provide 100% proof of his bigotry and not just got rid because of the bad publicity for good PR.

The sequels are just about imaginative traps and gore galore. No real likeable characters or relevant storylines. The sequels are what they are. Or in other words same as pretty much most sequels.

Can't understand why people are hoping or happy if he sacked over what at the moment are only claims. The term 'claims' was used multiple times in the article. Why not wait until the investigation is finished and find out what he said or if he said it at all. If he did say something let's hear his side of the story as what he said maybe have been taken out of context or he just worded an opinion badly.

Rambo... John J? But who wouldn't want Peter Washington from the original 'Dawn of the Dead?

Slippery slope. Can I say 'slope' these days? Anyways, I say why not just ask the girls themselves how they feel and if it is ok with them leave it at that.

Or did the 'Ultimate Edition' just about cover everything. A tribute for Romero would be cool but I can't see much more needed.

I can't comment any further, as I haven't seen the film yet. Is it right wing propaganda? I saw it as sort of having a go at liberals who have a 'holier than thou' attitude in regards to racism.

I actually just made a post on the politics board. This is it: 6.5/10 but I like horror movies. Possible Academy diversity thing as horror movies don't get many nominations especially in the big categories at all but who knows. I'd prefer this nominated than 'Shakespeare in Love' or that type of film. No offense to fans of that film of course.I would have preferred to have seen a stunningly presented and intelligent sci-fi film like BLADE RUNNER 2049 get nominated, or an adult edged and brooding superhero film like LOGAN. Awards are always going to be selective and everyone thinks this or that should be nominated but were shunned. It would be interesting to see what horror films in the last 20 years have received as much Academy attention as 'Get Out'. Then you do have to think of the #oscarssowhite movement and the boycott and ask is this really why all of a sudden 'Get Out' got these top category nominations. It probably did have something to do with it.

Best actor, Best picture, best director, best original screenplay. Not bad as the Oscars don't usually give too many nods to the horror genre. If it was pretty much the same film, but had no black actors, would it get the same praise? I actually just made a post on the politics board. This is it: 6.5/10 but I like horror movies. I don't want to live in a world where a couple of flippant remarks on Twitter can define a persons life and character. That is now where we are heading if not there already.

Is this a new model for horror? Create a film and then spin off based on characters within the film's universe (Annabelle, The Nun). Not sure if it would fit but 'Tremors'? The sequels and the short lived tv series were kind of a spinoff for the character of Burt.

I thought Annabelle in 'The Conjuring' was scary as hell for the short time that was spent on it. Better than the two movie spinoffs.

That is quite the achievement. Who knew that even a horror comedy would get this much Oscar nods? Now I'm wondering why 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil' were shunned by the academy.
