I'm saying there are just as many faults to be found in Star Wars's world-building. Both franchises were built on hard work from many smart people. And then both were ruined by Dizney. Am I right or am I right? You misspelled Dizney. That's two-e's at the end! If you're going to trash talk the company, do it right!!!!!!!!!!!!!12345&!

Yes, it is. Luke and Han appear to be different physically than your average human, nor do they seem to possess dissimilar cognitive ability, yet they understand dozens and dozens, if not hundreds, of alien languages perfectly. NOBODY learns that many languages. Therefore, there is no difference, and you will never convince there is. Hmm. I suspect you understand the difference but are unwilling to admit it, so I'll simply say this: Luke and Han knowing lots of languages is indeed a stretch. But that is very different than an alien who has never been to Earth knowing perfect American English. Very very very differentlol, very very very different indeed, but one seemingly needs some level of cognitive ability to realize that.
Btw, what language do Han and Luke understand besides Huttese on Tatooine where they lived/worked? Luke does not understand Wookie or Ewok or R2's language or the binary language of moisture vaporizers. That is C-3PO's job.
Where is the stretch? I have command over 3 foreign languages - I know a lot of people who are fluent in more than me.

Not really. If you paid attention to "Guardians", you'd know the translators are a thing. I've seen GotG a half dozen times. Never noticed any mention of translators. In any case, it really isn't a big deal. Star Trek has all their aliens randomly speaking English too. It's a common, if lazy, trope in fantasy and sci fi. It really doesn't bother me that muchthat is incorrect. Trek invented the concept of the Universal Translator and has several fully developed languages such as Klingon which is actively spoken and taught as nerd language here on Earth too. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_translator
The translator in Trek makes mostly sense, eg in the Ferengi Rosswell time-travel episode in DS9 the 20th century humans had no idea what the alien Ferengi were saying bc they had no translators.
And it's a big deal, distinguishing trash world building from great ones.

And then both were ruined by Dizney. Am I right or am I right? You're wrong. That post was just meant to poke fun at The Raptor. I don't think Disney ruined Marvel. They did, however, ruin Star Wars. And Pixar. Am I right or am I right?
