Marvel. And the reviews WON'T be even. If I had to predict right now (while knowing almost nothing on Captain Marvel), I'd say WW gets a 64 on Metacritic and CM gets a 62. That's a very premature prediction, but I think WW will surprise people. That being said, I'm honestly not excited for either of them.

created from sand by a god is not an artificial advantage? 1st, Wonder Woman isn't created from sand. She has a mother (Hippolyta) and a father (Zeus). 2nd, Wonder Woman has no control over who her parents are. Steve Rogers had control of whether he would get into the Army by training hard to pass the physical like everyone else did or getting into the Army by taking a shortcut and getting injected with an experimental PED that would give him an artificial advantage over everyone else. Rogers chose to take the shortcut. Moreover, we can see in the Wonder Woman trailer when she's training with her aunt that her aunt treats her like any other Amazon warrior so Diana has to work hard just like all the other Amazon warriors to gain the respect of her fellow warriors. Steve Rogers had it all handed to him without any work at all simply by choosing to take a shortcut and use an experimental PED that gave him an advantage over everyone else. That's like saying that Peter Parker was bitten by a PED spider. Peter Parker didn't choose to get bitten by a spider. Peter didn't wake and say "I want to be get bitten by a radioactive spider so I an climb up walls and have super-powers".
Steve Rogers wanted to get into the Army but he didn't train like everybody else so he couldn't pass the physical to get into the Army. So he chose to take a shortcut and get injected with an experimental PED so that he could get bigger muscles and have an artificial advantage over everyone else.
You mean the same one that was clay brought to life? That Diana? Yeah, she was created from sand. Hyppolita sculpted her and she was brought to life by a god. She was created and given powers, then desperately wanted to leave where she was to fight in a war. You mean the Steve that, no matter what he did, couldn't build the muscle mass? What about the Steve that actually did go through basic training before undergoing the SSP? And are you talking about the same Diana that already has all these superpowers? You're making sound like he was a skinny kid just to be a skinny kid and it was his fault he was like that. He wanted to join the army despite his body type. He was created with all those enhancements like a certain "wonder" Woman. And no Peter didn't ask for those powers, but he still got them. He didn't ask for them to be taken away when he got them. You can sit there are deny it all you want. They are trying to copy the MCU. They could have had her leave the island in modern times, but nah, let's make that movie that was already made. Oh and let me clue you in on a secret. Captain Marvel's origin is basically the same as Hal Jordan's.

He didn't take a "short cut" you dummy, being injected with the super soldier serum WASN'T his idea, it was the U.S. government's. THEY intended to use the serum on whomever became their top candidate for the program that would vastly upgrade their strength, speed, and immunity. He did take a shortcut. He chose to participate in the program because he knew it was a shortcut that would give him an artificial advantage over everyone else and get him into the Army so that he could get girls. And yes, that was the reason he wanted to join the Army - so that he could get girls like the rest of the soldiers did. It's clear in the movie, but you just choose to ignore it.

Not much eye for details. No. Steve wasn't looking to get girls. Yep, you don't have much eye for details. It's very clear in the movie that Steve Rogers wanted to join the Army so that he could get girls like all the other soldiers did.

He was on a date at that fair when he left them and tried to enlist again. So why would he join to meet girls when he already had one? And Peggy was interested in him before he went through the procedure. He even turned down the girl that advanced on him at the base (Natalie Dormer). In modern times he turned down dates. So when is that going through the procedure to get girls suppose to kick in?

Where in The First Avenger is it stated by Steve Rogers or any associates of his that he just wants to join the army to get girls? you are embarrassing yourself. YOU are embarrassing YOURSELF. It's pretty clear in the movie that Steve Rogers joined the Army so that he could get girls like all the other soldiers did. But you MCU fans are so dumb that you can't see the obvious and need everything spoon-fed to you.

she was created from sand. Hyppolita sculpted her and she was brought to life by a god. Nope, she wasn't created from sand. Her mother was Hippolyta and her father was Zeus. She was conceived and born the same way that other children of Zeus (such as Hercules and Perseus) were conceived and born. You mean the Steve that, no matter what he did, couldn't build the muscle mass? That's irrelevant. The only thing that's relevant is that he couldn't pass the physical to join the Army. But eh wanted to join the Army to get girls like the other soldiers did so he consciously chose to take a shortcut. Even if you argue that he had no control over how skinny he was, he certainly had control over whether or not to choose to take a shortcut and use an experimental PED to give himself an artificial advantage over everyone else. He consciously chose to take the shortcut.[/quote] You can sit there are deny it all you want. They are trying to copy the MCU. They could have had her leave the island in modern times, but nah, let's make that movie that was already made. Nope, that's not copying MCU. That's in the Wonder Woman comics so DCEU is just using what was in their comics. It was also used in the Wonder Woman TV series of the 1970s. In the 1st season, Steve Trevor's plane crashed on Paradise Island during the war and Diana took Steve back to America. Same thing in this movie so No, they're not copying MCU since they did this in the comics in the 1940s and did this in the TV show in the 1970s. Oh and let me clue you in on a secret. Captain Marvel's origin is basically the same as Hal Jordan's. I don't read Captain Marvel comics so I don't know what Captain Marvel's origin is. But like I just explained to you, Wonder Woman's origin has been well-documented in the comics in the 1940s and on the TV show in the 1970s so again, No, they're not copying MCU since they did this in the comics in the 1940s and did this in the TV show in the 1970s.

Everything DC-Fan says is bullshit Everything ThatGuy says is correct Steve didn't want to join to get girls, he joined to 'fight bullies.' In Winter Soldier he kept telling Romanov that he wasn't interested in dating the women she said liked him, he was too busy fighting terrorists. Before he got the injection, he dove on a fucking grenade to save other trainees. How the fuck did he expect that to get him girls? Who gives a shit about this 'artificial advantage' nonsense? He's not playing professional sports. The super-soldier serum program is sanctioned by the U.S. fucking government you goddamn commie, so they could defeat the Nazis. You have a problem with America doing whatever it takes to beat the Nazis? Doesn't Bruce Wayne use his money and connections to fund his cutting edge gadgets to fight crime? Isn't his grapnel artificial? Are batarangs found in nature? Does anyone else have a Batmobile? Artificial advantages!

He did it for noble reasons, and he won the right to the Super Soldier treatment from the testing done beforehand. If you were paying attention. He had more right to his powers than Superman does.

He had more right to his powers than Superman does. Man you can say that again. He only has powers because of the yellow Sun's effect on his alien DNA. He's an illegal alien. Ma and Pa Kent are fucking criminals. Harboring an extraterrestrial. Forging birth records or adoption records or whatever it was. All the lies needed to kept secret the fact that he's an alien that could destroy the entire human race if he sneezed wrong.

Where the heck was that ever stated anywhere in the film? If you are oh so intelligent since you are not in favor of the MCU please cite a specific line of dialogue or visual implication that suggests this.
Oh, and Patty Jenkins is not an Oscar winning director.

Oh, and Patty Jenkins is not an Oscar winning director. He's shit at figuring out what's going on in a movie. He used to complain about Civil War like 'How did Tony know where Cap and Bucky were going? It must have been magic!' even though it was obvious to everyone with a fucking brain that Tony got Sam to tell him on The Raft.

More like you're making up bull crap and saying its a fact when it obviously isn't. Provide a moment in The First Avenger where Steve says or it is implied that the reason why he joined the army was because he wanted to get girls and that he knew damn well what the super soldier program was all about before meeting Dr. Erskine.
Oh, and Patty Jenkins is NOT an Oscar winning director.

And I doubt Patty Jenkins ever will get an Oscar, because frankly, she sucks.

Oh, and Patty Jenkins is not an Oscar winning director. He seems to think it's because Bucky was good with women. He ignores how Steve showed little to NO interest in romance when he was weak. Once he was empowered, he had one lady at his USO show be attracted to him (he was momentarily struck by how pretty she was) and any attraction to the opposite sex once he was in the war was always a woman coming onto HIM (that army Private, Peggy). Batman shows more desire for women than Steve.
