Yeah. I'm not subscribed to Hillary Rodham-Clinton's "vast right-wing conspiracy" theory. I can say I'm familiar with that one, but why not? Is it because you're part of that right-wing and therefore know better? More or less.

What would you call it when a person deliberately believes something that isn't true because he/she wants it to be true (or is afraid for it to not be true)? Self-delusion? Self-deception? If lie is the wrong word, pray tell me the right word. Call it what you want, but no matter how hard you try, you can't deliberately believe something you know for a fact isn't true. Are there any major conspiracy theories that you are not subscribed to? Moon landing? Area 51? 9/11? MLK? JFK? Puvo’s collation of Erjen views (written by Puvo on old IMDB).
