WNBA only has 12 teams, though. And yet every time the WNBA scores scroll across the team there are like nine teams I've never heard of.

Who'd have thought it? Of all teams, it's New York City FC that puts the Big Apple on the board. Such cities as Boston, Philadelphia, and Chicago are still waiting to appear on the running list.

Hey, that's a long time for Boston or, (excuse me Frogs) the Boston market. 2002 - Patriots (won); Revolution (lost Final) 2004 - Patriots (won); Red Sox (won) 2005 - Patriots (won); Revolution (lost Final) 2006 - Revolution (lost Final) 2007 - Red Sox (won); Revolution (lost Final) 2008 - Celtics (won); Patriots (lost Super Bowl) 2010 - Celtics (lost Finals) 2011 - Bruins (won) 2012 - Patriots (lost Super Bowl) 2013 - Red Sox (won); Bruins (lost Finals) 2014 - Revolution (lost Final) 2015 - Patriots (won) 2017 - Patriots (won) 2018 - Red Sox (won); Patriots (lost Super Bowl) 2019 - Patriots (won); Bruins (lost Finals) Seriously, what's with the Revolution? Biggest chokers ever?

With the Rams winning, Los Angeles takes the top spot from Tampa by virtue of a championship in three different sports.

Philadelphia, Seattle, Houston, Cleveland, San Diego all hoping to be added to the main list. New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles hoping to boost their totals. Pretty surprising that Philly still hasn't so much as made it to the "so close" section by now.
Or is it?

Wondering what this board will be like at the end of 2029. Frogs will declare Philly the City of Champions despite Hurtsy being a bust, Simmons not attempting a shot more than 10 feet from the basket and subsequently being traded to a Turkish team and Joel Embiid on the injured list for 8 of the 10 years, and the Phillies finishing no higher than 3rd. New Orleans will be underwater so we won’t hear from Movieliker anymore. Tom Brady will accumulate 4 more rings, prompting Rey to put a hit on Belichick. President Harris will be in control forcing Millar to move to Canada. Wolf will ask us our 20 favorite championships of the 20s. The Mets, Knicks, Jets, and Giants will collectively accumulate 7 wins - Klawrencio will only be showing up here for Netflix recommendations. Nutsberry will be found running a crab shack in Key West. It's a little unnerving that this nugget gets more and more true every year. Simmons sucks. Frogs is adamant that Philly is on the verge of a dynasty in every sport. Movieliker is gone. Millar is gone. Brady did win another ring and is still playing. Wolf/Anthony is still compiling lists and asking " QUESTIONS " on boards populated by 4 people. Looks like we DO know where Frank is after all...

And Los Angeles is all alone at #1 with a championship in almost all of the Big Five sports! All they're missing is a Stanley Cup this decade. Los Angeles FC (part-owned by Magic Johnson) - take a bow! As for Philadelphia, they finally make it as far as the "so close" no-hopers. Of course, they have another chance for engravement on the big list very, very soon...

Had any city ever lost two championship deciding games on the same day before today?

Until recently it would have to be a NBA/NHL combination.
