Fake article, that's all you have? Well, he's not the brightest bulb on the board so cut him some slack.

Another goofy comedy is the last thing the MCU needs right now.
Can’t one of these cosmic movies actually take itself seriously and establish some coherent mythology and world building? Or did Eternals forever scare them away from that? Between this, Thor and Guardians the whole thing is one big joke.

This looks like the freakin Tooth Fairy. The tone feels a lot like Ms. Marvel... and that's not a good thing.

They seem to be trying pretty hard to apply the formula of Ragnorock to as many projects as possible. It failed pretty miserably with Thor 4 and Ant Man 3 so hopefully this is the last movie that aims for that style.

It's a good trailer. Hopefully the movie will be as good as this looks but we have 7 months of marketing to look forward to.

It's not just the amount of comedy, it's the fact that they're sacrificing story for it. What is this movie about? I'm trying to think of another Marvel trailer that didn't tell you who the villains were or hint at what the heroes were trying to accomplish. As terrible as Thor 4 was, the trailer still introduced Gorr and gave you a sense of what the story would be. Ditto for Ant-Man 3 (another movie I actually liked more than most did). All I can see in this trailer is, "Omergawd, I'm a superhero, this is soooo cool!" Thor 4 trailer had me worried, and those fears ended up being justified. I literally can't believe how bad this movie looks. Ms. Marvel is a garbage character hijacking the movie from what was supposed to be one of their premier characters. If they were afraid Brie Larson was scaring people away from this title, why did they think handing the keys to an idiot character nobody knows or cares about was going to put butts in seats? I liked the first CM movie (I know I'm in the minority here), and even I have no interest in this.

She got a good enough reception despite all the negativity a young Pakistani girl would get in today's xenophobic environment.
"An Idiot character nobody knows or cares about" oh you mean like Star-Lord?

There’s only a vague threat that propels wacky shenanigans. That’s probably why there’s no content here at all. It really is a paper thin trailer.

An entertaining teaser, I like the use of "Intergalactic" by the Beastie Boys especially, but Disney needs to consider airing WandaVision and Ms. Marvel on network and cable television and release on physical media before this movie comes out otherwise you will be leaving one too many people scratching their heads.

There's no story in the trailer, no hint of what it's about, heck not even a lot of really cool scenes. Just a lot of "yahoooooo!!!!" moments. Made me feel like I was watching Power Puff Girls. I disliked the first CM movie (or at least disliked it compared to other MCU movies not named Thor L&T) but even I have to admit I was much more interested in the trailer for that movie compared to this.

Surely this will have to be Mohan Kapoor’s last appearance as Kamala’s father after the allegations against him.

Shut up already. The character sucks, and it has nothing to do with her ethnicity. Go back and watch the trailer for Guardians again if you think that's a legitimate comparison. And here I was sure somebody would make a Spider-Man comp, which would've proved my point. They've been doing the "Whoa, hey, this is wild," thing with him through six movies now (Civil War, HC, FFH, NWH, IW, Endgame) and it's getting tired. Now we're going back to that well? I don't mind the occasional one-liner or some slapstick here and there; but a moron bumbling their way through the script is not a formula I'm interested in for a superhero movie.

"Go back and watch the trailer for Guardians", I did. Star-Lord isn't more compelling than anyone in The Marvels.

Who is 'they?' I've actually seen the Ms. Marvel show (well, as much of it as I could stand), as opposed to people criticizing an unknown quantity. If that's your opinion on Star-Lord and Deadpool, so be it. I think you're out of your mind, but hey. Judging by the trailers alone, it's clear that both Star-Lord and Deadpool are capable heroes despite their flaws. Nothing about this trailer suggests that about Ms. Marvel. She's just a dopey kid literally bouncing off of stuff throughout the trailer. If you honestly find Ms. Marvel compelling, good for you. But what makes you think I have to? Why do you think you can prove that every Marvel product is amazing? Why is it your job to defend all things Marvel to the death? For what it's worth, I hope you're right about The Marvels. I want these movies to be good. But nothing about the trailer interests me-- which is sad, considering I saw the first CM in theaters twice.

Zawe Ashton is playing Dar-Benn. Not sure if she'll be the main villain of the film or we'll see someone else show up as the main bad. But we know at least the Kree will be a thorn in Carol side again.
