This has to be by far the worst movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I will explain. The movie manages to have amazing visuals but it is highly political: and while i understand that works for some people I do not enjoy being hammered over the head with politics. Chadwick Boseman is good as ever as T'Challa and even the supporting Wakandan cast manages to do a good job, but Michael B Jordan's Kilmonger is absolutely one of the worst Comic Book Movie villains I have ever seen. Not only do they keep the formula of making the villain the hero's mirror opposite (which works more times than not) but the filmmakers try real hard for you to like, pity and feel sorry for such a horribly designed character whose main trait is being an awful, petty and vengeful human being. There is no real substance to the movie unless you wanna be deeply immerse into race politics, not my cup of tea to be honest. Which makes me give Black Panther a 5 out of 10, the lowest score I have ever given a movie from this saga. I did not enjoy it, I am not looking forward for a sequel, not even if Namor showed up. And there's no Infinity Stone

Your review is pretty typical of IMDB reviewers, really mediocre film, and for many other reasons besides what you just mentioned

I think "professional" reviewers are too scared to demean a movie like this. There's almost a witch hunt for bad reviews in RT

There's almost a witch hunt for bad reviews in RT The thing that made me laugh was I was watching SJU earlier and one of the panel said they had literally heard nothing negative about this film except it's marvel doing their thing well, like oh come on fucker that's bullshit, atleast try and be believable say I haven't seen any complaints that I can agree with other than it's kinda marvel doing marvel and doing it well, because that atleast acknowledges people having conflicting opinions to you, even the greatest almost universally loved films aren't free from some criticism.

I mean, people want to pin it as the Citizen Kane of Comic Book Movies and everyone has to agree on the movie's message and no criticism is valid apparently.

It hits you over the head with politics, it even has a jab to Trump, and that is the subtle part. It is hyper-political.

I liked it.
I knew the race bit would upset some people. It's like that boat scene in Wonder Woman that triggered some men.

I liked it. I knew the race bit would upset some people. It's like that boat scene in Wonder Woman that triggered some men. But see, I loved Marvel's Luke Cage and that had a huge conversation about race and even touched subjects like police brutality. This movie was just a political piece. And it is said Feigi didn't want Ava Duverney involved because her ideas were even more political... I would have hated that.

I haven't seen it yet, but I have a question... Is the movie overly-political? Or is it just more subliminal messages? It hits you over the head with politics, it even has a jab to Trump So the movie is basically anti-Trump propaganda? Did Michael Moore write the script for this movie?

Why did you like a post saying a movie sucks when you haven’t seen said movie? I like that someone is willing to offer the truth about the movie rather than pandering to the SJWs like all the critics who are scared of being called racist if they give the movie a bad rating.

What would you give Winter Soldier? That movie had the same type of politics in it. Or was it because the politics was too personal to the culture in it?

You're a tourist.

It hits you over the head with politics, it even has a jab to Trump, and that is the subtle part. It is hyper-political. Why does Marvel have to do that? I mean, seriously, just make a super hero movie. Nobody wants to be preached to while seeing a superhero movie. I guess I'm not surprised though. Thanks for your response.
