Yeah I’m so tired of movies about war having big battles. Like how stupid is that? Cap should’ve arrested Thanos then the entire third act could’ve been the trial of Thanos. Foggy Nelson as the prosecutor, Karl Urban as a Judge named Dredd, then of course we see every single MCU character take the stand. Now what a great film that would’ve been. Courtroom dramas can be very compelling!

Fat Thor was different ... a main character dying in the final battle was different ... a time travel plot that didn't copy Back to the Future was different. Critics loved it, audiences have made it the highest grossing movie of all time ... looks like they did ok. Now, you are going to tell us how they could have made it even better? No fat thor
a coherent time travel plot that is relevant for the entire film
Not another big massive cgi battle, Loki already did.
I never wholeheartedly liked Avatar. The highest grossing movie has no impact for me.
What was great about Endgame was how each Avenger dealt with the aftermath of the snap differently. How it transformed them. Thor descended into depression and apathy. What, you wanted everyone to just stay the same? The time travel plot was pretty coherent to those who listened to the movie. For those who thought it used the same temporal mechanics as Back to the Future, despite the movie specifically saying it did not, well, those dim bulbs were mighty confused. Are you part of that (very small) group? Another very small group would be those who didn't want to see an epic battle at the end. It kinda looks like your version of Endgame would have been a complete mess.

For a time travel movie and a chance to do something different than the average joe MCU movie. Some things I didn't like.
Fat thor Final battle
Poor time travel plot
disjointed story telling Spiderman uneven tone.

It's been a pretty amusing year. When Gunn's tweets were first revealed, DC fans were quick to proclaim him a pedophile, and by association, fans of his movies were pedophile enablers. DC (and by association, DC fans) had higher standards, they claimed. DC would never have someone like that on their payroll. When Disney fired him, DC fans were giddy over the prospect that GOTG3 was going to be cancelled. Oh boy! The MCU was in trouble now! Then the real fun began! Before the ink on the Disney termination was even dry, DC was begging this "pedophile" to join ranks with them. At least Disney had been unaware of the offensive tweets when they hired Gunn. DC scooped him up, fully aware. So much for those "higher standards". And to make matters even more hilarious, instead of maintaining some semblance of "higher standards" themselves, by denouncing this move, these DC fans suddenly became very, very silent about the whole thing. No more pedophile jokes from that crew of spineless hypocrites. But hey, at least the MCU took a hit from all this with the cancelation of GOTG3. That's a big win in any DC fan's book! Uh nope. After months of contrition for his past sins, Disney finally relented and brought Gunn back. GOTG3 was on again! DC fans hardest hit. Which leaves our poor conflicted DC fans with nothing to look forward to - except a James Gunn helmed Suicide Squad movie. ... and the prospect of it being one of the best of the DCEU movies.

Agent Carter was cancelled May 2016. Because Agent Carter was a crappy show. Agent Carter was another critically acclaimed series (RT 97%), but when it's ratings dropped to DC superhero TV series levels, it was no longer considered successful enough, by MCU standards.

Been said before but here goes a repeat because why not? If you judge an entire television series based on just the first episode alone you are not evaluating television properly in this age of the medium. When network executives decide whether or not to give the green light to a TV series, they don't watch an entire season. They just watch the pilot episode and decide based on the pilot episode. So it's more than fair to judge a TV series by the pilot episode because the pilot episode has to be good enough to get audiences to want to see more. That's how the TV industry works. So you're saying the pilot episode was "good enough" to green light the series and you're completely wrong when you say it sucked. The critics seem to agree. Season 1 got an 88% on RT. After that, it even got better.

Avengers Endgame & Spiderman Far from Home are the two obvious winners. Big time.
Captain Marvel & Shazam are a step down, but still respectable movies.
Dark Phoenix & Hellboy are clearly the worst of the worst. Utter disasters. Both should dominate the Razzies for 2019.

Iron Man vs Man of SteelCivil War vs BvSGuardians of the Galaxy vs Suicide Squad TIE - Both movies are badThe First Avenger vs Wonder WomanThe Avengers vs Justice LeagueBlack Panther vs AquamanCaptain Marvel vs Shazam!Final Score: DCEU = 6 MCU = 0 TIE = 1You are pathetic. There is no way anyone thinks Justice League is better than Avengers. No one thinks that on the planet. What are you talking about!? Justice League and BvS are two of the greatest superhero movies ever made! That's still funny!

The people who called Chris Pratt a white supremest, hate America. It's as simple as that.
Which is fine ... as long as we Americans can hate them back.

Seven seasons ... not bad! Star Trek TNG also wrapped it up after seven seasons.
It's always best to end it on a high note. The last few seasons received unanimous praise from the critics. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes!
If the drop in viewership from season one had anything to do with it, it's interesting to note that AoS has consistently performed better than other superhero shows ... like Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.
Just another example of the MCU having much higher standards than the competition.

Your personal opinion aside, you can't even point to any "bunches" of my threads ... since my thread creation is comparatively sparse. No doubt you are still butt-hurt from one of the last times you decided to tangle with me, and this has just been a case of you lashing out. Unfortunately, you've been barking up the wrong idiom, Ace. Uh-huh, yeah...
LOL!
Reduced to mindlessly repeating yourself, eh? So sad. Hey, at least dcfan likes your post. You've made a new friend!

Yes dear. I've understood what this has meant all along. I originally pointed out that the mods think Power Ranger's threads are so insipidly stupid that they've been locking them. You use this idiom to accuse me of the same thing. ( Posting a bunch of dumb threads that are being locked by the mods) I've challenged you to back up your accusation. You have failed, three times. I do so hope your retort is a tad more clever than just another mindless repeat of your previous posts, ala dcfan when he's completely out of gas. No dear, just of "posting a bunch of dumb threads".

My biggest issue with Far From Home is that Peter being outed as Spider-Man effectively ruins the character. So much for the in-over-his-head teenager, living two lives and feeling out of place in both of them. We've seen that rendition of Spiderman. Secret identities no longer work in today's day and age. The MCU understands that. DC still has Superman fooling everyone by wearing glasses. How stupid is that? Spiderman must change with the times or become irrelevant, like his DC counterparts.

Likewise, Black Panther was the first superhero movie to feature a superhero, that was part of a royal bloodline, who battles against against a member of his own family over the seat of the throne for right to rule a nation that was hidden away, loses, regroups, brings in a large amount of backup for a huge showdown, fights again, wins and becomes ruler. And then Aquaman did the exact same thing in the same year. Guardians of the Galaxy was the first superhero movie to feature a group of anti heroes teaming up and was advertised with 70's song Hooked on a Feeling.....and then Suicide Squad featuring a group of anti heroes teaming up was advertised with 70's song Bohemian Rhapsody. The Avengers was the first big budget live action superhero movie bringing together heroes from different individual movies together....and then Justice League did the same thing. Thor was the first superhero movie about Gods where the main character goes to the main land and falls in love with a human before confronting his evil half brother....and then Wonder Woman was a movie about Gods where the main character goes to the main land and falls in love with a human before confronting her half brother. Tony Stark, the billionaire whose abilities revolve around funding different gadgets and tools, goes to recruit the young quirky inexperienced Spider-Man to join his team who just makes the whole time....and then Bruce Wayne, the billion whose abilities revolve around finding different gadgets and tools, goes to recruit the young quirky inexperienced Flash to join his team who just makes jokes the whole time. Loki, an underling of Thanos, goes to Earth with an army of monsters in order to retrieve the Infinity Stones, objects with immense power but are ultimately stopped by the newly formed Avengers....and then Steppenwolf, an underling of Darkseid, goes to Earth with an army of monsters in order to retrieve the Mother Boxes, objects with immense power but are ultimately stopped by the newly formed Justice League. LOL! The sorry thing about the DCEU copying the MCU is they somehow manage to make a mess out of it, even after the MCU shows them how to do it right!

The OP sure does seem to get easily confused. This isn't the first MCU movie that has baffled him.
Apparently, a minimum intelligence level is required to appreciate MCU movies. That's not called a "plot hole".

You're seriously going to go back to 'Ronan was defeated by dancing in Guardians' again? Even though you have been told time and time again that he wasn't? Jesus. There are YouTube vids and gifs of Ronin being beat by dancing So ... we've got, what, three MCU hating trolls on this board? And all three are dumber than dog shit? I'm beginning to see a pattern.
